I'll just say that this album has so many hits ready to be released, it's a perfect body of work... The way she ends the album with Babylon... the choir, OH MY GOD... Her best album along with TFM, without doubt! GET READY Y'ALL! :cheeseblock:

I'll love this woman to death!

Couldn’t agree more! Give it a week and I will hold this album in higher regard than Born This Way (and potentially TFM soon after which is something I never thought I’d say)

Also a little update: I would now give Fun Tonight a 10/10

EDIT: get ready for 911. It is CLASSIC Gaga, something you could find on Born This Way, but updated to fit more with this record.

Sour Candy is AMAZING but t’s way too short

I saw a lot of Blinks complaining that their parts were too short butnwhat did you expect? It’s Gaga featuring BP

I wonder if there's a reason she's listed as Stefani Germanotta on Chromatica II when the rest are Lady Gaga

The interludes are nice, they help bring the album together and aren't something I would skip but at the same time I don't think I'd miss them if they weren't included if that makes sense.

'Alice' was a nice opening track, it's not one of my favourites from the album but I did enjoy it on first listen. It strikes me as something that may grow on future listens. 'Stupid Love' and 'Rain On Me' were both great songs before the album but they both sound SO good on here! I don't know how but within the context of the album they just sound so incredibly good *.* 'Free Woman' is a major highlight for me and could be a great single choice, my only criticism being that it could be a little bit longer but other than that it's a solid dance-pop song that's better than most of what dance songs chart these days tbh. GOD 'Fun Tonight' is almost as amazing too. '911' is my least favourite so far, I mean I'd still rank it a 7.5/10 at least but I feel her voice didn't need to get so /electronic/. Actually I played it again after the first listen (interrupted 'Plastic Doll' oops) because I felt it needed another chance and yeah it's a 9/10 now and reminds me a lot of 2010/11 Gaga. 'Enigma' is sooo good, definitely another track reminiscent of her first two eras but with a more updated sound. 'Sine From Above' went from "ohhh this is this type of song" to "woah Elton sounds great here" to "WOW what an ending". '1000 Doves' is another bop. Honestly this album is one bop to another bop to another bop to another bop omg. 'Babylon' is a 10/10 album closer, maybe not a 10/10 song as an individual but a perfect ending to an amazing album!

Without a doubt the most I've enjoyed a Gaga album since Born This Way! I did love A Star Is Born but I could live without like half the tracks, likewise for Joanne and 'Applause' is the only song I go back to from ARTPOP welp. There's no way this doesn't become one of my most played albums of the year

SO happy to see the Free Woman love. Easily my favourite following Rain On Me

1 Stupid Love

2 Free Woman

3 Rain On Me/Sine From Above

Rain On Me (and Sour Candy tbf) are growing on every listen but Stupid Love is still #1 for me

I'm really looking forward to seeing what is streamed most from the album outside of the singles! Can't wait for Saturday's Spotify update!
Such a good, joyful and upbeat album (in spite of what many of the lyrics suggest).......given its dance music roots it's defo crying out for a double album of extended mixes and remixes however.......loads of people (me included) would lap it up!
To anybody who has listened, do any songs have those massive Gaga choruses we all know and love or are they all breakdown based?

Fun Tonight, Enigma (I'll, I'll be your enigma), and kind of Babylon but there isn't any huge belt-out-loud choruses. A lot of the songs are short choruses then a dance breakdown with a lyric repeated/distorted/etc, (A thousand dooOOOooOOooOOooOOooves). There's nothing wrong with that at all but it does make me feel like the time of MASSIVE Bad Romance/The Edge Of Glory choruses are long over

wow if it really is wall to wall bops like what we've had as the singles then consider me very much hyped.
Gaga is #1 and #2 on both U.S. and UK iTunes with Rain On Me and Sour Candy 👏
