The Truth Behind Left Outside Alone

Back in 2003, superstar Anastacia was under going treatment for breast cancer.. She was writing her 3rd album. Her first musical visitors where in fact the Cheeky Girls. Anastacia received daily visits from the cheeky duo. After writing where do i belong, anastacia was stuck and half way through Left Outside Alone. So the songwriter turned to her great friends the Cheeky Girls for some help. In fact, anastacia only ever wrote the verse's of Left Outside Alone, as the cheeky girls invented the haunting "all my life i've been waiting for you to bring a fairytale my way been living in a fantasy without meaning, it's not ok, i dont feel safe, i need to pray..."

The cheeky girls also inspired lyrics to seasons change, sick and tired and pretty little dum dum.

It's not true......, the left outside alone song has a very big meaning for her, and It's impossible, other people writes those words, you have to feel like her to write that, and I think I know where those lyrics are directed to, I mean, I think I know, who is Anastacia saying that to in that song...

In September 2003, Anastacia entered the studio with Grammy-award winners Glen Ballard, Dallas Austin, and Dave Stewart and began what the singer referred to as a "difficult creative journey." Warned by her doctors that she would be physically drained from her treatment Anastacia stood prepared, as feisty as ever, to fight through whatever stood in her way. Reality check. "The experience was not pleasant," said Anastacia. "I usually look for the bright side of things, but so far nothing about making this record was positive for me. My doctor told me I'd be tired, not stupid," said Anastacia. "I could not focus on anything. I'd write a verse and then I couldn't write the chorus or I'd write the chorus but couldn't write the bridge. I couldn't talk, I couldn't think straight, I was totally out of it - the doctor's said I'd be tired - but of course I had insomnia. It was tough."
