Because you're trying to defend him, excuse him and suggest it didn't happen when there is plain evidence and he has spoken about how he did it in an interview afterwards and graphically said how he beat him to within an inch of his life and had his blood all over his hands and face. It was NOT years ago either.

 

He was proud of it, and he was glad he did it.

I'm not trying to defend him. But that podcast was back in 2016. Therefore the incident was before that. It was in Juvenile correction facility if i'm not mistaken. People do dumb things when they are young and a lot of their actions are based on their own childhood.

This is the best post in the thread so far. Name-calling is a step over the mark for me, especially when opinions are being expressed and they can be debated in a much more mature way (as has been happening all over the forum since X's death). I am no fan of his and I think his actions are truly appalling, but equally I know people enjoy his music and I'm not going to criticise them, as a good song is a good song ultimately. That said, his actions are offputting to some people and that's understandable! Let's just be a little bit less personal when discussing these things please.
