I think he just has a worldwide deal with Spotify. He has 4 songs on NMF Aus/NZ and 2 of them are Top 2 :P (and also 2-8 songs on every other playlist his music fits on)

Considering that Spotify was the last major platform to get the album, they probably had to do this in order to get the album at all.
