The 5 remaining songs are extremely worth of their final positions.

That said, i would swap out On A Night Like This for What Do I Have To Do.

The One I knew would do well but thought it may miss a Top 5 finish.

The other 4 songs were always going to make it.

05. On a Night Like This // 9.15 (7: Stuart25, Michael Andrew // 11: Tawdry Hepburn; 10: Sam Judd, Red Blooded Man, Monzo, Qween, davidas, Nick Jonas, Nick F1, Jay, Davidson, liamk97, Theo)

Now a quintessential Kylie hit, 'On a Night Like This' was originally written for Swedish singer Pandora before it was passed on to Parlophone. Akin to the classic dance sounds of Ibiza, the arrangements of strings, keyboard and synths with flourishes of spanish guitar inspires a warm and romantic mood, providing extra feeling to Kylie's words of absolute adoration and love. Her yearning vocal builds to an impressive middle-eight where full vocal power is unleashed. The song is rich and sparkling, much like it's dazzling music video that saw Kylie dripping in $2m worth of diamonds and jewelry. Only the best for this pop queen.

I was sure this would be top 3 but am happy its 5th as I prefer the other 4 songs. It's a great song and was perfect follow up to spinning around (although I prefer oanlt), love the Olympics performance of it. Had hoped this was another number 1 when released but number 2 was great although I was very disappointed in week 2 when it dropped to number 11.
I disagree, it's a great song but for me she has a few songs much much better such as the 4 remaining songs.

It's her absolute best song ever. Period.

It's everything a perfect pop song should be.

Cannot put it better myself, my absolute favourite too!

Yes, yes and erm yes

On A Night Like This is up with the greats but there are stronger songs from Kylie too.

All The Lovers just one of them.

I've been listening to a playlist of the Step Back in Time collection and 'On a Night Like This' is one I keep returning too. I'm quite confident I'd place it as my second favourite Kylie single. Aly put it best: it's simply everything a perfect pop song should be.
I know many fans rate it her top song but it def isnt for me, I also prefer some light years album tracks to it but am a fan of oanlt at the same time.

04. The One // 9.16 (6: Monzo; 7: Theo // 10: SamJudd, Feel the Fever, Red Blooded Man, Liam, Qween, davidas, Nick F1, Nick Jonas, Tawdry Hepburn, pippa, Davidson)

Based on a song by dance group Laid and vocalist Emma Holmgren, 'The One' was the comeback everyone wanted. Kylie's vocals sit somewhere between angelic and seductive as she yearns for her lover's affection, whilst the Freemason's production pays homage to the 80s new wave with its stuttering beat and rushes of synth. The song was poised to be the fourth official single from the album X but a last minute cancellation of its physical release put a halt to its chart potential, only scraping the Top 40 in the UK and completely missing the Australian charts. Much like 'Your Disco Needs You', it has become an essential classic in Kylie's discography and continues to reappear on tour setlists.
