October 29, 200618 yr loved the 'pure trance' edit of 'what time is love'... not over keen on delerium though tbh. l'esperanza is good.
October 30, 200618 yr Author The KLF were Immense! The White Room is genius The two albums they did before that are bloody great too...
October 30, 200618 yr Author The girl in Delerium's video looks quite like Michelle Marsh to me ^_^ I was only aware of the one Delerium song, of course Silence....and the several re-issues :( They've done about a half dozen or so albums, pretty gorgeous stuff for the most part.. Michelle Marsh??? Nah, the girl in the vid's much better looking than her....
October 30, 200618 yr The KLF is truly LEGENDARY. I read their 1992 Brit award was found months later buried in a field somewhere!! Right, Moaner is way better than Born Slippy. Fantastic list so far, btw! Most of these songs are new to me.
October 30, 200618 yr Author The KLF is truly LEGENDARY. I read their 1992 Brit award was found months later buried in a field somewhere!! Ooops, left that little factoid out of my list of their exploits.... Glad you're enjoying the show and hope you'll investigate some of these acts further.... ;) I was a big fan of "Born Slippy" back in the day, and it's still kinda okay, but when you compare it to some of Underworld's other stuff (like "Pearls Girl", "Skyscraper I Love You" or "Cowgirl") it doesn't really hold up...
October 30, 200618 yr Author NUMBER 17 - BENNY BENASSI - SATISFACTION I got into this when the clubs I went to (Slimelight, Synthetic Culture..) started playing it, a LOT... A really cool bit of dark Electro Techno, I just dig the robotic-sounding vocals... [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/rdSgWz5qPY8.swf
October 30, 200618 yr Author NUMBER 16 - CHEMICAL BROTHERS - STAR GUITAR So many contenders with the Chems, so many classic tunes, but I just love the way this sounds and the images in the video match up perfectly to the tune. [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/Ws_R_GxZX2o.swf
October 30, 200618 yr Author We're at the mid-point now, getting exciting.... :) NUMBER 15 - LADYTRON - SEVENTEEN A wonderful bit of Electropop here in the best tradition of Visage, Human League, etc, with a modern twist; nice vocals, and a slightly pervy video.... [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/mw6M4Czo7pM.swf
October 30, 200618 yr I loved 'Satisfaction' back in 2003 and still do today. I think that kinda stuff could be breaking through properly and starting a trend now, what with Fedde Le Grand and Bodyrox. 'Star Guitar' I liked at the time but became hideously overplayed. I've prefered some of their other stuff, such as 'It Began In Afrika', 'Galvanise', 'Believe' and 'Out Of Control'.
October 30, 200618 yr Author And I also like Ladytron a lot too, nice electro pop! They dont get as much attention or hype as Goldfrapp, I reckon that's unfair, I thought Ladytron's last album was far stronger than "Supernature"...
October 30, 200618 yr They dont get as much attention or hype as Goldfrapp, I reckon that's unfair, I thought Ladytron's last album was far stronger than "Supernature"... Well, I think Ladytron are building up a fanbase and a name for themselves now, and could eventually be as well off as Goldfrapp are if they keep working at it. I hope they do, they're a good band.
October 30, 200618 yr Author NUMBER 14 - ORBITAL - CHIME The legendary Hartnoll Brothers... Orbital were one of THE classic Techno/Electronica acts that defined the whole scene back in the late 80s/early 90s. "Chime" is a truly seminal track which still inspires many to this day. I think this vid was shot at the first Glastonbury they played in '94. Their genius is truly missed.... [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/6eCZRXDaQgc.swf
October 30, 200618 yr CHIME! Absolutely love. It's a sentimental favorsite of mine, which sounds absurd because I was a bit too young to catch wind of it when it was released. I first heard it in 1998 so it reminds me of that summer especially. Ladytron is fantastic! my favorite is perhaps their most commercial Playgirl. I definitely agree Aly, there have been a whole slew of Benassi ripoffs since 2003's Satisfaction. Global DJ's, Royal Gigilos, Vinylshakerz, and the new releases you mentioned. Don't know if you can credit the whole electro-house genre to Benassi but still...

October 30, 200618 yr Author Don't know if you can credit the whole electro-house genre to Benassi but still... I dont think you can really, I'm pretty sure Felix's "Silva Screen" was earlier than this....
October 30, 200618 yr Author i cant believe you like this pile of utter shyte m8.... Oh, I dunno, I reckon it's kinda cool... It's not all that far removed from some of the darker, Underground stuff that I listen to...
October 30, 200618 yr The only one I don;t really like so far is Satisfaction. Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers, KLF and Ladytron are all fantastic... :D 3 or 4 I don't know so will listen later.

Hmmm, strange that it's "Satisfaction" that's the contentious one, I was expecting to be slated for including CombiChrist or Front Line Assembly...
