Well there goes Channel 5's plans then with her pulling out.

 

 

Stormy is going to Loose Women to ‘exclusively’ reveal why she pulled out.

So she's not allowed to appear on Loose Women and she didn't do CBB because of something to do with custody of her daughter; she then offered to do the launch and a couple of other things, C5 agreed to that and then they apparently changed their mind at the last minute...and they bought her plane tickets for 8:30 this morning to get her outta the country? Something isn't adding up :mellow:

So she claims last night there was a development in a custody case for her daughter which meant she had to pull out! She wanted to appear on the live show last night to explain her reasons for puling out but CBB obviously rejected that.

 

It’s actually so frustrating that she was SO CLOSE to going in the house!! :lol:

Channel 5 have been in contact with Loose Women, “categorically denying” the claims made by Stormy :lol: What a MESS.

I really wish she went in now!

Mess, I guess this shows they shouldn't go out of their way so much for a kiss and tell contestant. It would have great to see if she was worth it but for them to have built the entire launch night around someone they were going to pay one of the biggest fees ever for ONE week is betting too much on one contestant. Even the theme of a storm feels like the conjured it up her up for her if you think about it :lol: I mean first Ray J quitting after a few days when they paid him £800k because of the Kardashians, now this. I was looking forward to her because I think she'd likely have been a mess and brilliant viewing anyway but she wouldn't have been legally allowed to have said anything about Trump. God knows what the reason is but it feels like she's just a diva who wanted more money and is more trouble than she's worth.

 

CBB US had the right idea capitalising on Trump by getting Omarosa, and actually she said to Brandi Granville that she turned down CBB UK last year which was a shame as CBB US had political clout because of her. God knows how much they'd have to have paid to get her here though, more than channel 5 was willing to shell out I'm sure!

 

What do we make of Hardeep, could possibly cause some tensions in the house.

He's reminding me a bit of Imran from the most recent civilian series, at first seems cool (from his VT, what I've read about him from outside the house today looking him up a bit more has marred that) but I think he could quite easily blow and drop the easygoing facade.

I think Stormzy would’ve been super quiet! I just hope they spend the £750k elsewhere this series to make it better.

 

I have a slight feeling that Stormy was paid not to go in.

 

Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with the launch last night. There was 0% atmosphere and we were all bored at home. Let’s hope the series is a good one. I am slightly surprised that Kirstie is pro-Trump, I do wonder how that will go, as I’m sure it will come up at some point, what with Kirstie being the president of Big Brother.

Yeah the atmosphere was just :mellow: The crowd were dire and it seemed to fizzle out after the first half hour.

 

Saying that I am looking forward to the rest of the series - especially with the likes of Nat and Rod in there.

Oh Christ I forgot about Kirstie being pro Trump :drama: Also apparently they turned away loads of fans at the launch, so the crowd was pretty much friends and family who obviously only care about their loved ones and not the whole house. The crowd atmosphere matters so much and it did make the launch feel a bit more muted... It's a good line up though and hasn't potential to be better than the past 3 or 4 summer series (that's really not difficult, mind).

They gave her a million in the US so idk if £750k would be enough for her to do it again but we can dream, she was SO worth her fee.

STATEMENT: Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live, informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house as previously agreed. #CBB

 

Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house. Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities. #CBB⁠ ⁠
