Also definitely agree that was a really promising start for this series! There's so many interesting characters and potential for a lot to happen and you saw ripples of that tonight, I can't wait to see how things unfold. I think Roxanne and Hardeep could annoy the others as well as the obvious Rodrigo. Roxanne gives me slight Amelia Lily vibes from the last summer season except I hope she stays sweet and likable and a bit overexcited instead of being a bit of a snake and totally spineless like Amelia.

Also I can't cope with Dan in the diary room in just his pants omfg

In all honesty, the first thing I thought to myself was ‘Liam will be in love rn’.

If he's gonna be as deadly boring as he seems to be he may as well give us something :kink:

1.27m for last night

So yeah, I’m just gonna enjoy Big Brother whilst it lasts...

ffs @ those ratings

What pisses me off is they'll probably just announce it's axed when the civ version ends - so there'll be no hope for a final series with ex housemates or anything like that. Just "soz, you've watched your last ever cbb/bb! bye!"

"It's understood bosses are looking to sign up new names for the series, which continues tonight at 9PM on Channel 5."

Interesting!

It got 1.4m including +1

It's doing better than the last series at least, that got 1.17m for the first Friday.

I think with Big Brother it's really just best to not focus on ratings at all. Anything above 1m is good as well in my opinion - I don't think many if any other C5 shows get that at all!

New Cruising with Jane McDonald and new Can't Pay always get over 1m, and Jane has occasionally hits 2m.

Trafic Cops, Cricket on 5 and Britain's Parking Hell have also been getting over 1m as well recently.

OH I thought Jane McDonald got over 1m but surprised about Can't Pay! :')

Still I think for a show like Big Brother 1m is decent - Reality TV isn't favoured, and I'm pretty sure shows like TOWIE, Made In Chelsea, Ibiza Weekender that are still going get less than 1m.

If Rodrigo uses language like that again, he should be ejected.

I probably won’t be watching tonight as I am currently bed bound, but I really hope that Rod doesn’t cross the line again. He could be a superb housemate!

Mess at me thinking he was straight though, oops!

Apparently they're having discussions with Samantha Markle

The good thing with watching CBB on your phone is that you can zoom in whenever necessary x

High Hopes used at the start there! :D

Why are they all thirsting over Ben, Dan is right there

Screaming at Roxanne Fergie-ing the national anthem, I love her she's so much fun
