This is just such uncomfortable viewing, another almost an hour of the show wasted on giving her the attention she badly craves, but I think it’s important to show how this transpired and that they’re all behind Ryan and close the “storyline” at the same time now she’s thankfully gone.
I know he apologised 4 times and she said nothing of note. Her feelings about how she felt doesn't qualify with what the pictures show!
Ffs I could say I don't like the way someone looked at me, doesn't mean anything tho!

You can see the realisation dawning on Roxy!

She's like a child, really.

That was probably the most uncomfortable episode in Celebrity Big Brother history. Could Channel 5 be in trouble with Ofcom? Probably.

They’ve already been in receipt of over 11,000 complaints regarding it apparently

Without taking the show off for a few days which they wouldn’t have done, not sure how they could have edited the show any other way really. It was all they were talking about, especially tonight, so not sure what Ofcom will be investigating here unless they just outright penalise them for showing any of it.

I actually think they handled it well. They had to take her word initially as otherwise they'd would be in trouble and i'm guessing they thought that would be an end to it.

And I think the tipping off of Dan was the right thing to do, given they were probably hoping it would die down. As it was they said enough for the HMs to then try and sort it out and to make them not push Ryan away more.

The chants though were the validation that was needed and the nail in the coffin. Sally was brilliant this evening and basically pushed Roxy with her words to walk.

Roxanne was awful and a horrific human being for what she tried to do.

Perhaps allowing Roxy in in the first place when she's obviously unstable? Obviously they haven't got proper psych tests.

C5 have actually handled the incident in itself very well anyway. It's a shame Ryan had to receive a formal warning but they did need to show that they take assault claims very seriously even if they are made up like this. Ryan is very lucky that it was on camera and therefore we all know she was lying, otherwise it could have become a police incident...

Yes, it was good from them to tell Dan about what had happened. I understand why it had to be shown.

Don't know why Big Bro was at fault, yes it was awkward but this was big bro at its best for me and what the show is about - human beings are complex and the show shows that perfectly and imperfectly.

Agreed - it wasn't pleasant to watch at all. But Big Brother at its best.

Also it all stemed from a situation that they didn't engineer and came about naturally (or natually as possibly with psycho in the house)

Yeh which shows how difficult incidents like this are hard to judge in the outside world. And as others were saying it demeans people who actually are victims of such incidents.

It was handled as well as they could have, best of all they were transparent about exactly what happened. We saw it all, and whilst it wasn’t awful and uncomfortable to watch, I agree this is BB at its best. No interference from the outside or tasks to stir things up, she had no storm before going in and felt a reach for the theme but she’s created one of the biggest storms in CBB history. It was just a natural occurrence between two housemates that spirallled and is core Big Brother at its best! It isn’t for good reason, but the buzz around the show hasn’t been this significant in years. Reality is reality, at least it’s meant to be, this show doesn’t just show sunshine and rainbows and friendships, it shows some horrible people, some weird, the best and worst of society, and that’s why the show at its core is so great. If people don’t want that, they can go watch TOWIE or whatever where reality is moulder and mangled to what the show wants.

They couldn’t really have done more other than maybe show the footage and saved two days of shit, but they must have known Roxanne would dig her own hole easily enough. They had to take allegations seriously as said, even in a case as ridiculous as this, but at th end of it all they clearly thought Roxanne was as unhinged as the rest of us,the way BB told Dan to think about it and realise that Ryan would be gone if he did anything, I can’t believe most of the house didn’t realise that :drama:

i think she clearly suffers with borderline personality disorder (look up the symptoms) i have no interest in speculating on a woman clearly deeply mentally unwell.

i hope she can get to a better mental state and work her life out.

thank god channel 5 are choosing to get rid of this; taking advantage of mentally unstable individuals for the benefit of entertainment is really wrong; it applies to this week’s loose woken debacle too or jeremy kyle or even x factor. why do people get joy out of people looking stupid, silly or f***ing up, arguing.

I think big Bro handled it as well as they could. I loved sally tonight and how she basically hit roxanne with the truth. I was happy for Ryan, he finally got to feel vindicated and it was such a big moment for him. Roxanne simply created her biggest storm in the house and ended her career and it's astonishing the amount of former Co workers that have spoken out against her.
