40 21 Drake (feat. Majid Jordan) - Hold On, We're Going Home 194

39 19 Lorde - Tennis Court 194

38 51 Demi Lovato - Heart Attack 196

37 41 Paramore - Ain't It Fun 196

36 58 Tom Odell - Another Love 197

This is an interesting set of events. HAIM have been almost completely eliminated, Lorde has fallen, Drake too, Wrecking Ball as well, all songs that have seemed pretty safe in 2013's canon as far as I'm aware, and given their results last year, looked that way. I'm sure everyone will have songs they're keen on in this section. I'm gutted with Falling's huge drop for one.

AQs

35 47 John Newman - Love Me Again 200

34 Rudimental - Waiting All Night 211

33 29 Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop 218

32 18 HAIM - The Wire 219

31 48 1975 - Chocolate 221

30 26 Lady Gaga - Applause 221

29 16 Icona Pop (feat. Charli XCX) - I Love It 223

28 17 Lorde - Royals 224

27 34 Calvin Harris (feat. Ellie Goulding) - I Need Your Love 227

26 9 Mariah Carey (feat. Miguel) - #Beautiful 230

25 23 Lily Allen - Hard Out Here 231

24 36 Naughty Boy (feat. Sam Smith) - La La La 234

23 22 Imagine Dragons - Radioactive 235

22 39 Duke Dumont (feat. A*M*E) - Need U (100%) 238

21 Martin Garrix - Animals 238

#Beautiful always felt like a weird top 10, this seems like a more natural place for it, as it snuggles up against The 1975, one of the more notable new autoqualifiers. Rudimental and Martin Garrix as new entries for autoqualifiers point to a bit of dance domination. If only it was actually good dance domination.

SEMI-FINALISTS

20 30 Clean Bandit - Mozart's House 239

19 25 Rihanna (feat. Mikky Ekko) - Stay 239

18 7 Katy Perry - Roar 242

17 28 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (feat. Ray Dalton) - Can't Hold Us 247

16 32 Britney Spears - Work Bitch 277

15 31 Klangkarussell (feat. Will Heard) - Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) 284

14 42 Avicii (feat. Aloe Blacc) - Wake Me Up 285

13 13 Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble 292

12 8 Lady Gaga - Do What U Want (feat. R Kelly) 307

11 1 CHVRCHES - The Mother We Share 312

10 6 Zedd (feat. Foxes) - Clarity 317

9 35 Avicii vs Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One 322

8 11 Paramore - Still Into You 336

7 3 Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 337

6 12 Daft Punk (feat. Pharrell) - Get Lucky 351

Oh wait, no, Mozart's House is going further in the competition, it is! And double Avicii, Klangkarussell, Macklemore, this is quite the shakeup of 2013's top 20! I like this. Last year's #1 The Mother We Share (god, what an amazing winner) is also in the semi-finals, I guess that was a bit of a fluke last year. Same as with 2012, an unusual winner, but...

FINALISTS

5 24 Disclosure (feat. AlunaGeorge) - White Noise 359

4 14 Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know? 362

3 5 Bastille - Pompeii 378

2 4 Lana Del Rey vs Cedric Gervais - Summertime Sadness 396

1 2 Little Mix - Move 443

...business as normal at the top end as like with Euphoria, Move regains its normal position as winner of this round. Do I Wanna Know and White Noise are two bits of unexpected company, leaping up from far below. You know, this week, we've sent just as many male-vocalled songs as female-vocalled songs direct to the final. Has Buzzjack finally become gender-blind?

Y'all really made HAIM and Lorde fall from the top 20 to not even being AQs. Y'all screwed up.

Arctic Monkeys, Disclosure, Klangkarussell, Clean Bandit and The 1975 tho (Y)

Literally annoyed how close Another Love is :/

Yay for Chocolate q'ing! at least I have 1/6 for the 2012/2013 section!

Yes at Drake going home. :P

ooh those are great results! dance bloc coming through.

Disclosure top five is excellent and Avicii x2 making it into the semis  as well as Klangkarussel and Clean Bandit. also great to see Martin Garrix, Duke Dumont, Rudimental, John Newman and The 1975 up to the AQ zone.

y'all still sleeping on Storm Queen and AWOLNATION tho.

Ugh definitely should've given Another Love a few points, especially considering the song it'd have replaced. Xx

Did you possibly miss my votes? I first noticed that 'Sex' only has 13 points even though I gave it 14, and then I ctrl+f'd my top 3 songs through the thread and they all seem to be missing my points. Not sure I'd make a difference to the finalists/semi-finalists/AQs anyway though; the closest I can see is that 'Need U (100%)' would be 1 point off #20.

I did! I must have opened the thread after you did and missed yours later. I saw your name in the 2012 voter list so didn't check. Apologies.

I have added your votes and you are correct, no major changes (except that I Love It is no longer the song that Another Love would have knocked out)! Got lucky on that one, considering how often Jay changes about 5 qualifiers when he votes last.

(and if you fancy checking, you can see the changes above)

^ Thanks! Nice to see my 30 points for 'Sonnentanz' push it up a whopping 1 place x In seriousness though, genuinely glad to see it reach top 20, along with 'I Could Be The One', and 'Mozart's House' which I couldn't quite fit into my vote but I continue to appreciate more with every new single they release time.

All 4 of my nominations ('Afterglow', 'Youth', 'Booyah', 'Swimming Pools (Drank)') are top 75 now *.* Kendrick deserves better for such a modern classic of an album, though then again 'Swimming Pools' was only my +16. I wanted to nominate 'm.A.A.d city' but figured it would have a much harder time getting votes.

Ouch for HAIM; clearly their fault for naming the song 'Falling' :basil:
