i would think it is a dead cert as she had a lot of the album finished before she took the country route..... the daily star article I think is a bit cut and paste from when they asked him last about the kylie collab so who knows what will happen.

that said she is going to be selling Golden up until next year no doubt with all the promo she can do and Tour.....

She may have the material to get a follow up album done quickly and build on the momentum she has got with Golden.

That said, a rushed album of poor quality is not the move she needs.

If anything maybe the new album they refer to is a possible deluxe edition of Golden that could get a release for Q4.

The gap does make it harder to get success but I'd rather wait and get a good album rather than another dud like kiss me once.

Kylie did say that she changed the album's direction after going to Nashville, maybe her next album will use some leftover dance-oriented material from Golden for the new album?

I would welcome a dance orientated style album from Kylie.

Many of the Golden tracks could easily have been big dance singles.

It'll hardly be rushed if she was intending to release this stuff anyway.

It's definitely clear to us fans that Kylie has been revitalised this era. She's so passionate about the music, she's clearly enjoying herself when performing and is eager to give fans the best experience possible. I don't quite believe she was thinking about "slowing down" like the article indicates, but I do think, pre-Golden, she wasn't in a happy place and wasn't sold on the material that made Kiss Me Once which might have made her think something needed to change.

I don't really mind what direction she takes her music in next, so long as she's happy with it and is still keen to try new ideas. A return to "dance pop" could be anything really, it doesn't necessarily mean she's just going to make more Kylie-by-numbers songs. She can strike the balance right between making records that fans love her for and that will keep her motivated and interesting and evolving.

Kylie needs to make an album she believes in herself which has been extremely clear with Golden. She portrays passion everytime she talks about this album and she fully believes in the album. Her next album needs to be the same and i think the fans seem to be enjoying the album just as much as Kylie herself.
Well I thought the golden album campaign was for 18 months. I suspect she is recording new tracks for a reissue to boost sales of the album at christmas.
A re-release with all out pop/dance songs woould totally back away from the point of Golden and would ruin it's integrity.

It would be interesting if she re-released with dance versions.

Something similar to how Shania Twain tweaked the songs on the re-release of Come On Over, she brought the country pop element in stronger with the new versions.
