Apparently Payola doesn't actually properly happen with Spotify either!
Hm, I’m not a massive fan of cancelling gigs for performances as The Hits are a reasonable sized radio station in the UK and they will no doubt drop Ruin My Life from their playlists.

yeah, hopefully this won't hurt her radio performance with the station, let's hope they will handle this right, cause it's not good for her image, cancelling things like this. It really must be X Factor, cause otherwise i can't think of any other reason.

So this ended up at #14 this week, should easily outpeak ‘Ain’t My Fault’ next week but I suspect it to peak / climb to around #11 as its iTunes performance is really holding it back! If she is on X Factor semi final I hope she manages to book more promotion! Top 10 would have been certain this week had she performed on Children In Need.

Her streaming peak on YouTube in the UK is #75 which is atrocious! She ended up at #28 on sales this week and #18 on streams but it’s different to compare it to any other singles as it would be much lower if it wasn’t for ACR and Ain’t My Fault and This One’s For You would have managed top 10!

Remember she cancelled her European tour shows in Milan in order to perform at the EMA’s? She really needs to be careful though as short term as X factor performance will help Ruin My Life but could affect her long term! I really hope she has a lot of props for her next performance of Ruin My Life and not just a little dance routine.

They cancelled two Germany dates too if i remember correctly... maybe they're worried with the iTunes position, like us. Discount two weeks early and then a performance. Even if she just shows off her amazing voice, there will be a great boost. I don't know now what else she can do for this song on stage.

I just think she can be in a glass box etc for a performance and breaking out of it etc

Oh, that would be nice, also she can break little things. it's an interesting idea, she really could bring something to the stage.

Speaking of breaking things, the vertical video it's on her channel now.

I'm really surprised at this turning into a big hit! It was pretty instant for me and I haven't gone back to it that much in the last week or so. It'll be weird having a higher peak than "Ain't My Fault" as that still feels very big now despite only charting at #13. Good for her though!

Yeah I wouldn’t mind a similar performance to Halsey at the EMA’s but think her breaking out of things would also fit the song perfectly!

Hopefully get the more YouTube views now! Cmon top 10 next week and hopefully go higher if she’s on X Factor! I’m so excited for her Spotify numbers tomorrow! It should be enough to at least get her bubbling under on billboard

Keep in mind that TTH update was only 7 hours ago, so it's not a full day, plus songs always decrease in streams during the weekend. She will rise the positions due to other songs falling, but not much in streams i think. We will see a much bigger effect during the week.

True, I’m just excited to see if she climbs higher worldwide, I think Jess Glynne will overtake her on spotify UK though!

yeah, probably, "Thursday" is coming on a Saturday, the audacity ugh. :drama:

-1 tomorrow :drama:

I thought that she said rule my life when I first heard this song. I'm liking this with every listen.

Yes so did I! I'm very much in agreement with the second sentence too.
