Posted June 25, 20187 yr It’s been 15 years since we have had 3G network in the UK. It’s been 6 years since we have had 4G network in the UK. Isn’t it time we started to think about the next generation mobile network and when it goes live in this country? Would there be much difference to how 4G is now? Well I stand to think there would, especially in remote parts of the country where mobile data is nowhere to be found at present. I think it is time to shut the 3G network down permanently as the majority of mobile users will have been using 4G for some time now and where 4G is not available and 3G is, there’s very little data speed to be found. Anything below this such as “E” or “GPRS” on iPhones for example also no longer serves an effective purpose and should be done away with. What are your views on this subject?
