Robbie Williams ‘GAGGED’ from talking about X Factor revamp :o

“We will only get in trouble for talking about things we don’t even know about.

“Until then I will keep my mouth shut... and I’m not very good at keeping my mouth shut."

Somehow I think all these so called dropping hints are pre-arranged :) , Robbie is very good at keeping his moth shut when he wants to ;)

Or when he has to anyway.

To be honest - I doubt he knows anything anyway.

Someone will let him know the day before where he has to be.

The X Factor is due to return to screens in 2019, but there will be a twist: we're getting a celebrity version as well as the usual civilian series and they will air back to back on ITV.

I find this photo so annoying - how they've downsized RW to look the same height as all the vertically challenged others in the photo. <_<

Robbie Williams reveals Simon Cowell tried to talk him out of quitting X Factor: ‘We couldn’t make it work’

Robbie Williams has revealed Simon Cowell tried to convince the popstar and his wife Ayda Field to return for another year of X Factor, but it didn’t work. Although, it sounds like there’s every chance the couple could reclaim their seats on the panel another year down the line. When asked by Metro.co.uk about his departure from The X Factor at a press conference in London, the 45-year-old explained how he misses Simon Cowell but revealed he was taking a break from the music mogul. ‘He did [try to get me to stay] and we wanted to, we just couldn’t make it work,’ the Angels hitmaker explained. ‘It’s a pause in the relationship.’ Talking about his bond with the 59-year-old, Robbie insisted there is no bad blood between them. He told us: ‘I miss him, I really like him. He says he misses the music mogul (Picture: REX) ‘He’s incredibly charismatic and very charming and I’ve learned an awful lot from him, and you know, it was good chemistry.’ The singer added: ‘So it will be a loss to us all for this year. But like I say, it’s just a pause button.’ Despite walking away from the ITV singing competition, Robbie has more than enough to keep him busy, as not only is he playing Hyde Park’s British Summer Time Festival this year, he’s also working on a new album. Chatting at the conference he revealed he’s been quietly making new material – and the LMA Choir, who were on of his acts on the X Factor, have been working closely with him. Robbie is currently working on a new album (Picture: PA) Robbie is teaming up with LMA to open a university campus (Picture: PA) He beamed: ‘We’ve been in contact (with LMA) and the folks have been singing on my album.’ Robbie chuckled and told the crowd that he wasn’t there to promote his own material. He was actually launching a new project with the group that will see himself and LMA open a London university campus in 2020. The global superstar was delighted to become the co-owner of the college and university centre, which provides creative courses in musical theatre, acting, film, musical performance and TV production. Simon Wallace, who founded the project with brother Richard Wallace, said: ‘Bringing Robbie on board is a real dream come true for us all, as we know how passionate he is about developing young talent.
