July 26, 20186 yr Author I'm on my phone and can't see what you've posted :( Series 9 actually looks really interesting as Rick leaves probabaly within the first segment of the show as he's already back in London as they film the final 8 episodes!! Also Shane's character is in two of the episodes!!
October 27, 20186 yr I am! So far so good... a definite increase in quality compared to the last two seasons. Intrigued to find out why Rick leaves.
October 27, 20186 yr I am... I just hope they are not killing Rick off, at the moment I literally don't know where the series is heading without Rick, unless the character is coming back at some point as a re-cast.
October 27, 20186 yr Author Daryl will take the lead then! I'm enjoying it too, like how they're moving things on!!
October 28, 20186 yr I'm SO ready for The Whisperers but I expect we won't see them until 9x8. Apparently Samantha Morton is incredible. Edited October 28, 20186 yr by Jase 🎃
October 28, 20186 yr What's the craic with The Whisperers? https://uk.ign.com/articles/2018/07/25/the-...erers-explained They're gonna breath some serious life into the show!
November 5, 20186 yr OMG, what an episode, one of the best so far this series. Personally I don't think we seen the last of Rick with that twist at the end. And the time jump introducing an older Judith Grimes :o wtf was that, and introducing some new characters. I really enjoyed this episode and bring on the Whisperers.
November 5, 20186 yr Author Absolutely fantastic episode the best since season 6 finale. Everything was right about it was the dream sequences of Hershel, Sasha and Shane. Even the music at the end was the same as the end of the pilot episode when Rick was trapped in the tank. And then that time jump....
November 5, 20186 yr Hmmm the cop out with Rick was cheesy, but you can't kill him off. Obvious he will be back near when the show ends. But Judith!! I feel this probably needed to happen a season or two ago before they lost a large majority of the viewers, but hopefully the show returns to form now. It's certainly been much better this season.
November 6, 20186 yr https://www.theverge.com/2018/11/5/18065198...-andrew-lincoln They've got a Rick Grimes movie trilogy on the way which will be broadcast on AMC!

And the time jump introducing an older Judith Grimes :o wtf was that, and introducing some new characters. I really enjoyed this episode and bring on the Whisperers. I was actually so down for walkers "evolving" and somehow becoming smarter/stronger/etc to pose more of a threat in smaller numbers but then I remembered about that group  Still looking forward to their introduction nevertheless I'm really enjoying this season so far - I skipped the entire last season and just watched a recap of it all on youtube and honestly I don't feel the need to backtrack at all  I lost interest not long after Negan was introduced because his whole story arc lasted for way too long but I'm loving this again now. I'll go back and rewatch the whole show eventually but for now this is fine
November 6, 20186 yr Author Was also really emotional seeing Hershel on scene as well as he's sadly passed away in real life last month. The fanzine websites have that episode down as Maggie's last as well. Also stated Beth, Lori, Carl etc were in the episode too?? Unless they were in the heaven scene with sasha amongst all the dead bodies??
November 6, 20186 yr I guess they could have edited on a load of familiar faces to the piles of dead bodies, I did think that during the scene but I didn’t notice anyone other then Sasha. That cannot be Maggie’s last episode though, there’s so much more to her story and realistically she’s the most like Rick in terms of leading the show at least until next year Edit: Ok I’ve done some reading and apparently that is Lauren Cohans last episode for the season, or at the very least I imagine until the mid season break. She’s doing another show for ABC so scheduling doesn’t permit her enough time for both. They’ve purposely not killed her off/sent her away in a helicopter because they (Lauren and TWD showrunner) still think there’s a lot more to her story and there’s plenty of places to take her character. Hopefully she’ll be back eventually - I’d love for her to return at the end of this season even if it’s just a cameo because Maggie definitely is not ready to die Edited November 6, 20186 yr by DexTheHalls
