Solace is the title of the third album from Australian alternative dance band RÜFÜS DU SOL (formerly known as RÜFÜS, but known as RÜFÜS DU SOL in the US). The album is preceded by the lead single "No Place".

RÜFÜS DU SOL – one of the world's preeminent live electronic bands - have announced a fall tour, bringing their titanic live show to some of North America's most prized venues from coast-to-coast. This news is accompanied by the reveal of their much-anticipated album's name SOLACE, of which the tour takes the same title.

A new track from them called "Underwater" will be released on Friday.

Oh 'Underwater' is infectious, definitely the best thing I've heard from RÜFÜS since 'Innerbloom' which is a very high bar in itself.

This is actually going to be released on October 19. The album, which will be available for pre-order tomorrow, has nine songs and it includes "No Place" and "Underwater", plus "Lost In My Mind". The latter was premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show as the World Record yesterday.

I've never heard of him/then before but I heard "Lost in My Mind" on a NMF playlist and have had it on repeat - really enjoying his style of dance! :music: Does anyone have any recommendations of other tracks to check out?

You 100% need to check out everything RUFUS, Like An Animal, You Were Right and Innerbloom are all massive faves for me from their last album which really recommend :wub:

I will get round to listening to this because I think it’s probably going to be a contender for album of the year for me based on the tracks I’ve heard so far!

This album was amazing :wub: :wub: although probs my least favourite of their 3, but they are high bars ofc. I do feel like this is lacking a long masterpiece a la Imaginary Air or Innerbloom, but that's kinda my only gripe, the album is just such a vibe, and you can really hear the growth of their sound, nothing feels really stale. Treat You Better is an amaze single choice too :wub:
