End before we start is nice enough. It’s a little too save and ‘been there, done that’ for me. Actually that’s the biggest problem for me with this album in general. Nice produced, not bad but also predictable at moments.

The power of Claire!

I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad!

I think there’ll be a couple of surprises at least!

I do like on my own and its a great album opener

2. End Before We Start

 

This one hasn’t done anything to quash my worry that the whole album will be “very Claire.” These songs are perfect for her but I do feel she also knows her solo audience quite well. The mums who love her at the group gigs will eat this kinda song up!

I also really like End Before We Start and i think it works really well following on my own on the album.

Track 3: 7 Billion

 

One of my favourites! This one has a killer chorus :cheeseblock:

7 billion is very Kelly C, not in a bad way. More upbeat and diverse moods throughout the song. Despite some corny lyrics I enjoy this one!

Okay this is a bit more like it and definitely one that suits Claire’s vocal range. I wouldn’t say Steps level of bop but it’s certainly radio friendly and upbeat. I wouldn’t skip anyways!

I agree they are perfect for her and fit what her audience want from her

End Before We Start is lovely if a little pedestrian!

These wings is ok/nice. Nothing new at all. Very Claire though. Could’ve been shorter for me.

Completely stunning :wub: A highlight moment on the album. Surprised it was passed over as a single.

These Wings is my favourite, she sounds incredible and I love how it builds! :wub: A top 10 hit in my personal chart!

When I just saw the title of this before it started playing, I knew it would be a piano ballad type thing.
