Once again, Neil Jones (Katya's hubby) has confirmed he's not getting a celebrity partner this series - or indeed two of the new pro dancers whose names escape me. Honestly why they have so many pro dancers only to use 15 of them is beyond me. Nothing would surprise me if he left next year, he's one of the best dancers on there and yet gets relegated continually to background dressing.

Is the Dance Troupe not a thing in Strictly like it is in the US? Normally they have newer dancers start in the troupe before making their way into the pro line.

Yeah not necessarily dance troupe but they have a bank of pros who do performances on the live shows and stuff and he's in that.
