Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western-themed action-adventure game set in an open world environment. The game centers on Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and a member of the Van der Linde gang in 1899, in the waning years of the American Old West and extinction of the age of outlaws and gunslingers. The player controls Morgan from a third-person perspective. The game features both single-player and online multiplayer components. Among returning characters are John Marston and Dutch Van der Linde, the protagonist and an antagonist from the previous game respectively.

 

The game will continue to use the Honor system from Red Dead Redemption, which based on how the player interacts with non-playable characters (NPCs) will affect how settlements, towns, and other groups will react towards Morgan.

 

A gameplay trailer to possibly one of the most anticipated game sequels ever was released yesterday and it looks breathtaking. It's apparently going to be Rockstar's biggest game ever

Really looking forward to this, took me a good seven years to get round to playing RDR the first time but once I sat down and took it all in it I was completely invested.

Only played bits of the first one, but I am actually SUPER excited about this release. It looks so amazing and I know Rockstar won't disappoint!!! Apparently there's some cool stuff you can get for GTAV if you preorder, so I'm tempted to do that.

I never played the first one, this looks like the next step of video games though so I am so excited!

So who's playing this then? I got it earlier but left it installing all day whilst at work. 2 discs as well? This better be worth it...

 

I never played the first nor do I really game anymore. Literally the only reason I brought my PS4 when I moved out was for the spyro trilogy lol. But something about this has captured my attention (plus I'm really hungover so need something to keep me entertained tonight).

I REALLY want this but I don’t have a console :( I need it to come out on PC ASAP but knowing Rockstar it could be another 18 months yet

Camden has just bought this but now has to either find his old external hard-drive, or has the very daunting task of choosing what should stay or go on his PS4 to make room for this gargantuan game! :lol:
