Golden Girls received two nominations (popchartfreak & me), not that it would've made a difference lmao.

(oh, I see 'Golden Girls' and 'The Golden Girls' have been separated, nevermind)

only just realised The Office US didn't make it either

oops yep, merged them together!

30 Rock, The Office US, Arrested Development, It’s Always Sunny, Little Britain, Seinfeld, & Veep are all way better than half of the stuff that actually got through :(

The Office US is a thousand times better than the UK version

omg I completely forgot all about this :( Anyawy The Good Place/Little Britain/Citizen Khan/Dinnerladies would've been the only shows on 3 noms that would've got through had I remembered
Also how did Come Fly With Me get more noms than Little Britain when they are basically the exact same show?
ah no I forget It's Always Sunny cos it wasn't on the list! (it was but I'm clearly not good at looking/remembering oops) but it probably wouldn't have made it very far anyway. at least TBBT is through!
Little Britain was only added to the OP last minute :kink:

That’s a little annoying because I would have voted for that if I remembered.

Other than that I have no complaints about shows that didn’t make the cut, all my nominations qualified I think so that’s great

I know it’s a controversial part but my intention was more for scripted comedy, just sitcom is more snappy!! There’s only a couple of sketch shows made it through so it’s up to people whether they choose to vote for them or not!

GROUP A

01. Friends: 18

02. Parks & Recreation: 8

03. Birds of a Feather: 7

= Modern Family: 7

05. Cuckoo: 3

Friends is an obvious qualifier but the second qualifier was up for grabs all the way through voting! For up to 2 HOURS before the deadline, it looked to be a battle between Birds of a Feather and Modern Family as they were tying but then Parks & Recreation (thankfully) managed to sneak through and pass both of them!

GROUP B

01. The Inbetweeners: 18

02. Mr Bean: 12

03. Peter Kay's Car Share: 7

04. Porridge: 4

05. Extras: 3

06. Open All Hours: 1

Again, The Inbetweeners is another obvious qualifier but Mr Bean also proved to be a standout with its silent comedy in this battle of both classic and new British sitcoms.

GROUP C

01. The Vicar of Dibley: 21

02. Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 15

03. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: 14

04. Friday Night Dinner: 10

05. Black Books: 4

WHAT a battle this was!! The Vicar of Dibley looked to be a certainty but Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Fresh Prince and Friday Night Dinner were locked in a three way battle. Friday Night Dinner very sadly started to fall by the wayside and at the last moment Brooklyn Nine-Nine secured its winning vote. Good qualifiers but I'm also gutted to see The Fresh Prince and Friday Night Dinner out - two of my absolute favourites!!

GROUP D

01. Miranda: 18

02. Keeping Up Appearances: 12

03. Absolutely Fabulous: 11

04. Bad Education: 7

05. Fraiser: 5

Two strong female leads help see Miranda and Keeping Up Appearances through, with another female led sitcom in Ab Fab just losing out. 11 seasons of Fraiser don't garner the popularity here.

Right results, thank god Parks and 99 managed to get on the right side of the line, they’re two of the best shows in this whole thing.

Frasier is by faaaar the best in group D, but comes last ? Against Miranda, Keeping Up Appearances, Ab Fab, and Bad Education ?

*shakes head*

You people.
