There are 9 new entries this week, the highest being Marshmello & Bastille with their unlikely collab 'Happier', but it could not quite get the #1 spot as The 1975 hold it for another week with 'TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME'. There are 2 other new entries in the top 10, Bring Me the Horizon's comeback single 'Mantra' and Calvin Harris' follow-up to 'One Kiss', 'Promises' with Sam Smith. Slaves climb into the top 10 after just narrowly missing out last week with 'Chokehold', the second single from their new album 'Acts of Fear and Love'. Other new entries come from Disclosure, Against the Current, M-22, Jess Glynne, and there are 2 tracks from Fall Out Boy's new EP 'Lake Effect Kid'.

Elsewhere, my favourite new entry is 'Promises' which is proving to be very addictive atm. Need to check out that Disclosure song!

To be honest, I love all 3 of the singles from the new era. I think overall they are stronger than the first 3 singles from the last era (though Love Me is one of their best)! I am also really enjoying Promises, I definitely prefer it over One Kiss. I thought it was quite interesting Disclosure decided to release 5 tracks last week, I liked Moonlight, but I love Where Angels Fear to Tread. It sounds like something out of an old Disney movie!

I'm glad to see you like a good amount of my chart! I also love Jess' new track, I don't think she has any bad songs in her entire discography tbh.

 

I'd definitely disagree with you about Y&Y. I think I prefer this era to their first: Sanctify, If You're Over Me, Karma and All For You are my favourite tracks.
