Hello!

 

This week, Bring Me the Horizion has taken the #1 spot from The 1975, who held it for 2 weeks. The single 'Mantra' is their first new release since their last album 'That's the Spirit' in 2015. There are 8 new entries, the highest of which being The Struts' 'Primadonna Like Me', The Struts also appear at #23 with their new version of 'Body Talks' featuring Kesha. LSD climbs into the top 10, after just missing out for the last two weeks, with 'Thunderclouds'. Other new entries include No Rome featuring The 1975 with 'Narcissist' at #15 and Nothing But Thieves' lead single from their upcoming EP 'What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way?'.

 

Next week, expect to see new entries from Andy Black, Troye Sivan, Muse and maybeeeeeeee Pitbull if you're lucky. :P

BRILLIANT to see Bring Me The Horizon hit number one! :cheer: Absolutely loving Mantra at the moment (as reflected in my first personal chart this week!) and it's fantastic to have such an incredible band back after a three year gap.

 

Really liking the Nothing But Thieves entry at number 17 too, it's a different sound for them and reminds me of Muse!

 

Speaking of Muse, looking forward to seeing The Dark Side coming in next week - I think it's a significant improvement on Something Human.

'Mantra' didn't do that much for me on first listen but clicked a bit more during the second time I heard it, so I'd like to think I'm nearly there with it :kink: it certainly stands out anyway! Elsewhere, my favourite new entry of yours comes from Twenty One Pilots *.* I see that they're continually switching up every release of theirs as ever haha, bring on the album! I particularly appreciate the synths in 'My Blood' :heart:

Yeah, I love the new BMTH single, it's one of my favourite releases ever from them. It's so damn catchy! Also, I'm glad to see you have started a personal chart, I'll check that out! :D

 

I also love the new NBT track, I agree with the comparisons to Muse, and I'm really hyped for the EP.

 

I love all the singles from Muse's new album, the weakest one is probably Dig Down, and my favourite is Thought Contagion. But Something Human and The Dark Side are excellent as well.

Yeah, I really like TOP's new single. Overall, the singles have been a mixed bag for me, nothing has stood out to me like they did on Blurryface, but none of them are bad. My Blood is definitely the best so far.
