I still absolutely bop to WLM and wish the fan-base didn't hate it so much. I feel like its blamed for the LM5 lower sales, but it is absolutely the label to blame for pretty much abandoning the campaign after one single.

LOL. If the girls had it their way, "Strip" would be the first single. I don't think "Strip" would do better than "Woman Like Me" on the charts and I don't think it would sell more albums than WLM.

The problem with this album campaign was that the girls weren't focused on making potential poppy hit singles, they went more RnB and urban and Syco forced WLM on them, hoping to salvage the campaign. Sadly, this only solved the problem for the first single. "Strip" was released together with "More Than Words" and both songs had a cheap video and Syco moved the girls to RCA. "Think About Us" was released with a remix, this is all we need to know about what the label(s) thought about LM5's potential.

No need to blame WLM for anything. The fans might not like it because it was forced upon the girls, but in the end the girls are to blame for not presenting the label with music that the label could get behind.

Labels don't move mountains for songs and albums they don't trully believe in. Also, I don't think another major label would fully get behind "Strip" as the lead single from LM5.

The album would have done great if they followed WLM with Monster in Me or The Cure in December like they did with Touch instead of waiting until March.

WLM actually sold incredibly well. It's a very well known single and it was huge despite not being a #1.

The only disappointment is that it never charted in America but the label legit messed this up and I have no idea how the next album campaign will fare.

So heart finally playlisted this this week :')

!!

I still think this is their worst single tbh.

Over 'Cannonball', 'Word Up', 'Little Me' or even 'Bounce Back'?? Absolutely not.

Tbh my second least fave by them still isn’t any of those  B-) this and Change Your Life are their least good for me.

Little Me is underrated tbh.

It SO is!

I mean, I wouldn't place it anywhere close to their best but it gets such an unfairly hard time. It's a great song!
