Len undermarked her every dance bar her Rumba so I doubt he's that bothered xx

It makes me wonder if Strictly ever has anything like this vote wise, I remember once on Dancing On Ice someone was bottom 3 despite having the highest score on week 1, but that was only out of 8 people. There were two below though thankfully and she got like 75% of the bottom 3 vote, but still. I've skimmed through anything similar happening on Strictly and there was a guy who was joint top (3 people got 27) on week 1, on week 2 he got 27 again but went home in the dance-off to someone who got 14 then 18? But I assume he must have messed up the dance-off. I don't think we've had anything like Tinashe, Heather Morris, Sabrina Bryan or Christina Milian, I just wonder if we have more sense than to pay them dust or does the judges scores counting help.

I imagine Aston for example was struggling a bit in the votes, and that's why the one time he messed up he ended up right down in the bottom and didn't have the judges buoying him up. Tbf though I can't see the *major* fuss around his elimination, I get it was a shock obviously and nobody called it but he was the worst other than Ruth that week and Mollie was better in the dance-off so I don't think it was unfair in the circumstances. But I think that might be about the closest we have? X Factor had its week 5 curse though where we lost Laura and Maria Lawson for example.

Mirai Nagasu also went home after getting on top of the leaderboard the previous week but that was a four week season and it was a triple elimination. If it were based on scores then Josh Norman (who came second that season) would have gone home.

I’m probably the only person who has agreed with Tinashe’s total scores over the course of the season. We’ve seen with her and with DWTS Juniors that Brandon can do so much more and he was working his way up to that. Despite Len’s comment about the Cha Cha, she was still a bit ahead of the average score for the front runners of the last two full seasons.

(tbh I thought Andrew was joking with that spoiler and John Schneider was going home but then the results came and that nightmare came true :drama:)

Watch all Disney Night (Day 1) dances here!

Live from Hollywood, it’s DWTS Juniors! We get our first taste of Disney Night as the Juniors cast pull off

-

scores: Val | Mandy | Adam

Sophia & Jake: We see Kim Kardashian return to the show to encourage her goddaughter, plus we get to see her relive that infamous rumba with Mark Ballas, one that everyone consider to be one of the worst dances in the history of DWTS. Sophia tends to dance very timidly, but this time we got to see her dance more broad. The judges loved that she gained more confidence.

Scores: 7 | 6 | 6 = 19. I thought it was a lot better than scored.

-

Mackenzie & Sage: Contemporary is definitely Gleb’s strong point when it comes to choreography, and it’s definitely more on Kenzie’s comfort zone. Sage is fantastic and strong with his lifts. Mandy points out that Kenzie uses the music to execute emotion through the choreography and that made for a strong contemporary.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 9 = 27. How about that?

-

Ariana & Artyon: This is the very first time we’ve seen anyone dance to Lilo & Stitch In Disney Night. They also have fun roasting their mentor. It’s very hard to blend two cultures of dance but they did well pulling off the Samba while executing some Hawaiian culture. Val praised the amount of bounce in the Samba. Mandy praised Brandon’s choreography, and Adam is wowed by her consistency.

Scores: 9 | 8 | 8 = 25. As expected. It wasn’t as breathtaking as Kenzie’s dance, but she’s fantastic.

-

Mandla & Brightyn: Cheryl wants them to portray a flamenco dancer and a matador. I have no idea why she wants to associate matadors with Coco. It’s about a mariachi player. The pair do a pretty good job utilizing both traditional Mexican dancing with some Paso Doble moves. Adam loved the performance despite noting that his technique was a work in progress. Val, however, was left cold.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. Still pretty good scores.

-

Miles & Rylee: Lindsay wants Miles to be as michevious as Aladdin was in the beginning of the movie. Lindsay is probably the queen of Charleston if Derek is the king. They also utilize the props and troupe well. I kinda wished that Rylee wore a cloak, so as to fit the movie. Val loved the Charleston elements and that the production didn’t overpower it.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 9 = 27. Brilliant!

-

Alana & Tristan: Artem gives a nice princess etiquette class, which is a funny bit. Her outfit is giving me Marie Antoinette vibes. It’s a classic watered down Artem foxtrot wth the troupe members playing the furniture. Her lines are pretty amazing! It was just so cute! Val praised the fact that she dances from the heart.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. Her best score yet!

-

Sky & JT: I wanted to see shirtless Alan :( :( Alan works on lifts with the pair and they do pretty well. It’s gonna be pretty hard to beat Simone’s contemporary. The dance is pretty good but for some reason I’m always drawn to JT, which could become a problem later on. Mandy wants her to work on her feet. Adam praised the dance’s maturity.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 8 = 24. Sky takes the mic and delivers some encouraging words to her young fans.

-

Jason & Elliana: Jason is so hyper, it’s such a mood *.* He also wants to do the part of Woody justice. It took a while to get into foxtrot elements and it’s such a calming dance. I just find him to be really stiff when he leads Elli. Adam seems to disagree though; he thought he led Elli beautifully.

Scores: 8 | 7 | 7 = 22. Adam’s been hesitating with his scores lately...

-

Akash & Kamri: Witney and Kamri put him into an extensive workout program which made for a funny bit. He got lost when he was getting into the choreography, but the dance goes off without a hitch. “Make sure you don’t skip leg day” lmao gotta love Val. Mandy thought he stayed on time, and Adam loved the fact that he danced with joy.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. And that’s probably as heavy as the dumbbells I have at home.

-

Elimination Time!

And the couple leaving this week is... Sophia & Jake!

Another one I saw coming based on this week’s dance, she had decent dances but they didn’t pop as much. It was sad seeing her burst into tears though. This edition seems to be doing eliminations a lot better than the adult version, all four eliminations so far have been what I expected.

-

Dance Ranking:

9 | 1.) Mackenzie & Sage

9 | 2.) Miles & Rylee

8 | 3.) Ariana & Artyon

8 | 4.) Sky & JT

8 | 5.) Alana & Tristan

7 | 6.) Akash & Kamri

7 | 7.) Mandla & Brightyn

7 | 8.) Jason & Elliana

7 | 9.) Sophia & Jake

Trying to decide if this guy is hot. Who is it?

That is NO way to talk about Angela.

(It's Tyler from Big Brother, the answer is no he is not xx)

Watch all Disney Night (Night 2) dances here!

What’s black, white, and red all over? Disney Night, of course! We begin with a star studded opening night with the DWTS Juniors cast, including hose Jordan Fisher! Expected this of course, he is a Disney Channel alum. So... last week one of the best dancers went home, how much damage control will the show have done this week?

-

scores: Carrie Ann | Len | Bruno

Alexis & Alan: We learned through social media that the entire cast went to Disneyland for inspiration for Disney Night. Her Disney Night inspiration comes from Pocahontas and Whitewater Rapids. She’s asked if any feelings have developed between them. No answer. A sensational start! She glides through that floor like it’s nothing and her core strength shows. Len loved the chemistry but wants her to improve on her footwork. The judges are really pushing this idea of them being together. This is sure to generate votes for her.

Scores: 10 | 9 | 10 = 29. 10’s already?!?! This is gonna be a good night for dances. Also “one more time!!!” is gonna be a trademark.

-

Juan Pablo & Cheryl: He feels relieved that he got knocked down a bit because so much pressure that early would be detrimental to him. He’s excited to play Gaston and really gets into the character. He also reveals that he wanted to be a Disney animator before moving to acting. They’re dancing to the live action version! There’s a lot of content combined with astounding production and it’s just as good as the last Beauty And The Beast dance on the original version! The judges rave about his immersion into the character and individuality thrown into the number.

Scores: 10 | 9 | 10 = 29. There’s some banter about Juan Pablo’s clip-on ponytail and it’s cute.

-

DeMarcus & Lindsay: They’re a little big bummed with the scores but they got a Charleston, and you can trust Lindsay to create a bomb Charleston. (also the Jimmy Kimmel poster lmao) There’s a ton of lifts going on and it’s all clean, but I find him slow in places. That didn’t distract from the performance, and neither did Lindsay’s heel on her shoe snapping. The judges raved of course, Len wanted more Charleston.

Scores: 9 | 8 | 9 = 26. Still a bit below the pack... Jason loved the dance of course.

-

Evanna & Keo: I have been waiting FOREVER for someone to do Tangled and I’m so glad that one of my favorites has accomplished that! Evanna appreciates the Disney princesses for the dichotomy between their vulnerability and toughness. We also learn that Keo hates roller coasters. They did not let me down one bit! It was lively and they kept the party going throughout the dance. Len loved it but he wasn’t starving for it. Bruno wanted her to stay on beat.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 8 = 24 POINTS TO RAVENCLAW! I thought it deserved a little more than that... :(

-

Joe & Jenna: Okay Wreck It Ralph. Joe notes that it’s not easy hearing bad feedback. He’s putting more hours in it to find his stride. There are parts where it’s actually decent, but he looks awkward and there’s obvious timing issues. Overall... a lot better than the last three weeks! I’m surprised! The judges notice some improvement but want more confidence. Because the voters seem to love him... I mean that’s why he’s still here over superior dancers.

Scores: 6 | 5 | 6 = 17. Jason gives him some encouraging advice and tells him to have some fun.

-

Mary Lou & Sasha: Mary Lou loved that she got her highest scores and she aimed to enjoy herself. She enjoys the message Mulan gives, which she states as self-love and self-worth. She’s grown so much over the past couple weeks and it makes me smile. I was thoroughly impressed with this dance, there was so much emotion and she projected to the entire room, which is exactly what I expected in a contemporary dance. She starts to burst into tears after the dance and it warms my heart. Carrie Ann loved the rawness shown and Bruno also raved about the dance.

Scores: 9 | 8 | 8 = 25. Now that was massively underscored!

-

John & Emma: One of his prized possessions was a Jungle Book record that he accidentally left out in the sun. He’s putting in a lot of effort but we sometimes forget that he’s the oldest contestant. I think he kept up just fine, but I feel like he’s too far away from Emma when he’s on hold. He’s been surprising every week and that makes me sad. Len thought he did well despite him lacking the stamina for it.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 8 = 24. They should have at least let him catch his breath. And lmao @ DeMarcus and his random shot bombs.

-

Bobby & Sharna: So they get The Little Mermaid. Of course. She looks like Ariel. Sharna wants more elegance and grace... so nothing like the foxtrot. There’s some stiffness during the first couple seconds but then he picks it up and it’s much cleaner. Bruno saw him start to get off beat but it was a valiant effort.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. We’re still seeing 7’s and 6’s on Week 5. Yikes.

-

Milo & Witney: They’ve been hyping this up so much over social media. As this season’s token Disney alum, he and Witney are pretty excited. I keep wondering what superpower Milo would have. They start off by rescuing Tom Bergeron and it’s straight into the dance. Jam packed and full of content, and it’s all in a unitard!

Scores: 9 | 8 | 10 = 27. There we go Bruno!

-

Elimination Time!

In Jeopardy: DeMarcus & Lindsay, Alexis & Alan. I’m a little torn on this. DeMarcus had the lower score last week but I think people were turned off by Maddie’s appearance and didn’t vote for Alexis from that.

Eliminated: NO ONE!!! It’s Disney Night! Now that was a nice redemption because that bottom two scared me to DEATH.

-

Next Week: Halloween celebrations go into full gear with both the adults and the juniors doing their thing, and we’ll see if one of Joe or Bobby will finally get eliminated. I can already see this being a double elimination and the results are not gonna be pretty.

Dance Ranking:

10 | 1.) Mary Lou & Sasha

10 | 2.) Alexis & Alan

10 | 3.) Juan Pablo & Cheryl

9 | 4.) Evanna & Keo

9 | 5.) Milo & Witney

8 | 6.) DeMarcus & Lindsay

8 | 7.) John & Emma

7 | 8.) Bobby & Sharna

6 | 9.) Joe & Jenna

Voted For: Alexis & Alan (+4), Evanna & Keo (+4), Mary Lou & Sasha (+1)

I know Alexis is at the top of the leaderboard but child I was SCARED.

Two-Week Leaderboard:

56 | Milo & Witney

54 | Alexis & Alan

53 | Juan Pablo & Cheryl

51 | Mary Lou & Sasha

48 | DeMarcus & Lindsay

48 | Evanna & Keo

45 | John & Emma

41 | Bobby & Sharna

32 | Joe & Jenna

Like I said a couple weeks ago, we’ve come to the point where Joe is much further behind everyone else. Unless Bachelor Nation hauls ass, he might be going home. FINALLY. That should have been Tinashe’s spot in the first place.

Ridiculous at this point  He seems likeable enough and I suppose it's amusing but for Tinashe to be sent home and we still have him every week :')

Live from Hollywood, it’s DWTS Juniors! It’s creepy, it’s crawlie, and the juniors are hungry for blood.

-

scores: Val | Mandy | Adam

Akash & Kamri: He’s a mad scientist and created Kamri, his robot assistant. He’s doing an amazing job leading her, but I still find the dance more like him doing poses and Kamri dancing around her. Adam pointed out a small flub with his goggles but praised his resilience. Val and Mandy consider it the best dance he’s done.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. They need to step it up if they want to get farther.

-

Mandla & Brightyn: Right off the bat, Mandla is having trouble keeping up with the Charleston’s high speed in rehearsals. They’re feeling the pressure of matching their jive. There’s a ton of content and the lift was fantastic. The judges praised his commitment and thought he did well.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 7 = 23. A lot less underwhelming than I expected, so that’s an improvement.

-

Mackenzie & Sage: She gets a jive... a little bit less into her comfort zone than contemporary. They dress up as zombies and when it comes to Gleb... he turns into a princess. Her kicks were sharp and you can just see the chemistry. Mandy wanted more nuances in the dance. I think Mackenzie is still conditioned for those arco routines on Dance Moms where there’s trick after trick and no time for nuances.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 9 = 25. Meh. It’s a lot better than that.

-

Jason & Elliana: Jason plays a vampire for this Argentine tango, but it’s hard for him to get that poise and proper form. It’s a solid dance, clean and proper with not much fooling around. They also told a story. Adam commends his seriousness and Val loved how much he controlled

Scores: 8 | 9 | 8 = 25. This was much better than I thought!

-

Ariana & Artyon: There’s a funny bit where she renamed the Paso Doble. She’s also having a hard time in rehearsal. The dance is nice but I find her walking at some parts. Adam wants more emotion, but she killed the performance. The general consensus is that the judges want more.

Scores: 7 | 8 | 7 = 22. As expected. It wasn’t as breathtaking as Kenzie’s dance, but she’s fantastic.

-

Alana & Tristan: I mean... they don’t call her Honey Boo Boo for nothing. I felt that if they were gonna do a jazz routine, they could have amped up the production value a bit. She hit all the beats, but I was left feeling underwhelmed. Adam praises her commitment and Mandy loved her musicality.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. Another decent score. Artem’s wife beater is giving me something...

-

Sky & JT: She also seems to be struggling with the choreography but then she starts crying. Alan comforts her and says that she’s doing the best she can. I feel like every dance showcases their flexibility, but there’s enough content to back it up. Mandy loved the danger aspect.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 8 = 26. Her highest score yet! I was so worried she had plateaued but she proved me wrong!

-

Miles & Rylee: The dance is all about candy, and of course they want a ton. Now this is what I call a Samba! It’s a tough and taxing routine, but he gave it 110% and nailed that routine like it was no one’s business. The judges loved it, as always. I have a feeling this is gonna be good.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 9 = 27. I noticed Lindsay is wearing the same Red Riding Hood outfit from last year’s DWTS Halloween night.

Also still no 10’s.

-

Elimination Time!

And the couple leaving this week is... Alana & Tristan!

Based on scores I could see this coming. They’re the only couple that didn’t get an 8. It was hard to see her break down in tears tho. These eliminations are going well so far!

-

Dance Ranking:

9 | 1.) Miles & Rylee

9 | 2.) Sky & JT

9 | 3.) Mackenzie & Sage

8 | 4.) Ariana & Artyon

8 | 5.) Jason & Elliana

8 | 6.) Mandla & Brightyn

7 | 7.) Akash & Kamri

7 | 8.) Alana & Tristan

Watch all Halloween Night (Night 2) dances here!

Live from Halloween, it’s the conclusion of this spooktacular DWTS Halloween Night spectacular! Nine dancers, a performance from Jabbawockeez, and another elimination. Will this episode be scary enough to recover its lost ratings?

Wow @ Carrie Ann’s Elvira look!

-

scores: Carrie Ann | Len | Bruno

Milo & Witney: Milo’s a giant fan of Halloween, it’s all about creepy crawlies for him. Witney has this idea of him playing a schizophrenic asylum patient. It’s a nice bit. Milo does an amazing job portraying the character, and that lift was astronomically high in quality. Halloween Night is probably Witney’s specialty. Len admits he hates jazz and contemporary but he LOVED IT. Bruno commends his acting, while Carrie Ann loved their partner work.

Scores: 10 | 10 | 10 = 30. I have been WATING for their first perfect score since trio night!!! So glad it happened because it might solidify their win!

-

John & Emma: Emma explains her concept (Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn) but John is confused. She later explains that this is a revenge story. There’s a lot of advanced choreography involved and that worries me. I’m not entirely sure what the Beetlejuice theme has to do with medieval England but I’ll take it. He’s doing a wonderful job keeping up with the choreography but he ends up getting caught on her dress during the drag. Bruno appreciated his commitment to the dance but noticed so many mistakes. Len loved everything in hold.

Didn’t Drew also fall during Halloween Week? Poor Emma.

Scores: 6 | 7 | 6 = 19. OH YIKES. I agree with Len’s score actually.

-

DeMarcus & Lindsay: He’s feeling some pressure after being in jeopardy last week. It’s a funeral setting... yeah this is a weird setting. There’s a lot of intricate choreography and troupe members and it’s hard to focus on them but whatever they did was amazing. Len congratulates him for keeping up with the male pros but he wants more.

Scores: 8 | 9 | 9 = 26. Wow, Carrie Ann is giving some low scores lately.

-

Evanna & Keo: She’s a bit disappointed because she had high expectations for the dance, but she decides that letting go is the best thing. I was so mesmerized by the entire thing! She did AMAZING! Len raved about her crisp moves, and Carrie Ann thought she delivered when it came to personality.

Scores: 10 | 9 | 10 = 29 POINTS TO RAVENCLAW! She’s really coming to her own throughout the week!

-

Bobby & Sharna: Their dance is about nightmares, which he compares to his schedule. It’s almost like he’s a machine, but can that translate into his dancing? He’s doing a lot better than I expected! It’s simple but effective, just like Carrie Ann said. Len wanted more content of course.

Scores: 8 | 7 | 7 = 22. Bobby starts begging for an 8 from Len.

-

Mary Lou & Sasha: Mary Lou reveals that she was recently divorced, and it was something that was hard yet healthy for her. Halloween Week for Sasha means tons of pranks. She plays a demonic teacher and they’re dancing in detention. A lot of it looks like she’s desperately trying to keep up and it’s a massive step down from Disney Night. Carrie Ann thought it lacked elegance but felt that the dance was more cathartic for her. Bruno wants her to break the habit of getting stiff when excited.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 8 = 24. Around where I expected but still a solid dance.

-

Alexis & Alan: The judges have really been pushing the chemistry... so the next thing they do is go on a date to the candy store. She explains that dancing with him makes time stop...

Wait a minute... she has feelings for Alan?! OH MY GOD. I really hope that he doesn’t let this go to his head and they continue to pull out all the stops every week.

She does AMAZING like usual, but then something goes off... the singers aren’t matching with the music! They pulled through like troopers and finish the dance without a hitch. The judges love it anyway.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 9 = 27. Alexis definitely noticed the track skipping. Also OMG they’re really turning into Meryl & Maks 3.0.

-

Joe & Jenna: Jenna thinks the best way to loosen Joe up is with a double date at the Haunted Hayride. She wants him to commit to his character for this dance. He’s definitely hitting the notes better and those lifts are impressive, but he just looks dead in the eyes. Once the music starts picking up, the dance starts to go downhill. Le sigh.

The judges go to praise him for his resilience but noticed his flubbing up in the lift. Joe admits that he thought he was gonna break Jenna’s back.

Scores: 8 | 7 | 7 = 22. HUH???? It was much better than his last few dances but it wasn’t 8-worthy. At least he’s out of the bottom of the leaderboard!

-

Juan Pablo & Cheryl: Mummies? That’s new. He’s revealed that he’s made his Halloween costumes from scratch so he gets to work on sketching out a costume to get everything right. Once that split come out, everything went into overdrive! It was exactly what I expected from him in a jive. Len admits that there wasn’t a thing he didn’t like.

Scores: 10 | 10 | 10 = 30. He already has two perfect scores! I think he and Milo might have this season wrapped up!

-

Elimination Time!

In Jeopardy: Mary Lou & Sasha, Alexis & Alan. So no one who was at the bottom 3 on the leaderboard will be leaving. And another woman will be going.

Eliminated: Mary Lou & Sasha. Thank God it wasn’t Alexis. It wouldn’t make sense to eliminate someone at the top of the leaderboard.

-

Next Week: A ton of country stars will be joining the eight remaining couples in Country Night, and team dances are coming up! Will a newfound showmance send another female packing? Or will the sexism finally end and a male gets sent home?

Dance Ranking:

10 | 1.) Milo & Witney

10 | 2.) Evanna & Keo

9 | 3.) Alexis & Alan

9 | 4.) Juan Pablo & Cheryl

8 | 5.) DeMarcus & Lindsay

8 | 6.) Bobby & Sharna

8 | 7.) Mary Lou & Sasha

7 | 8.) Joe & Jenna

6 | 9.) John & Emma

Voted For: Alexis & Alan (+5), Evanna & Keo (+4)

Live from Hollywood, it’s Country Night on Dancing With The Stars! With special performances, team dances and a double elimination, this episode will leave everyone on the edge of their seats! Tom and Erin also reveals that there will be five finalists! That is so excessive.

A little conspiracy theory before we begin... For the past seven seasons, the eliminated couple was on the winning team. Who will join Patti Labelle, Hayes Grier, Von Miller, Maureen McCormick, Heather Morris, Vanessa Lachey and Arike Ogunbowale this season?

I’m... not the biggest fan of country so let’s hope I don’t pull my ears out watching this. At least James Blegh isn’t on here.

-

scores: Carrie Ann | Len | Bruno

John & Emma: John released a couple country songs and some of them went to #1. He talks about how country should resemble his life, then reveals that he’s going through a divorce of his own and hopes that one of his children would be there for him. The entire thing is a line dance, as expected, with fiddles and everything. He’s so in his element which I love, but I wish some of his Charleston elements were more refined. Bruno commended the choreography and how it highlighted him perfectly.

Scores: 8 | 9 | 8 = 25. Meh... I agree with the two edge judges.

-

Evanna & Keo: First off, shout out to Carly Pearce for her performance! Keo and Evanna don’t really come from countries with a lot of country, but they know that the rumba is a dance of love.

Not bad for Keo’s first rumba! There were parts where she felt a bit tentative but there were so many gentle touches and the partner work was sublime. Bruno praises the connection to the music and Len commended her hands. Carrie Ann compared her to the likes of Kelly Osbourne and believed that she’s made the biggest transformation.

Evanna mentioned that this dance was more of her stripping down and showing a more authentic side of her.

Scores: 10 | 10 | 10 = 30 POINTS TO RAVENCLAW! IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME. This is also Keo’s second perfect score overall, his first being his jive with Jodie Sweetin in Season 22.

-

Juan Pablo & Cheryl: Cheryl takes Juan Pablo to a line dancing bar to help him get into the Country mood. I mean what do you expect from an Argentinian man? The dance was fast paced and he hit everything perfectly but I felt that it was really missing something. He’s not impressing me as much as he should this week. Len loved the mix of traditional Charleston and country. Bruno praises his timing.

Scores: 10 | 10 | 10 = 30. He’s one perfect score closer to the MBT.

-

Joe & Jenna: That 8 goes to Joe’s head and there’s a cute bit with him and Jenna fighting over choreo. Jenna’s face paint is so distracting and it makes me thing that this dance is a bit culturally insensitive. It’s a pretty average dance, he’s improved a little bit since Week 1, but it’s Week 7. He should be doing much better. Len critiqued his feet and thought the dance was unstable. The judges admire his resilience.

Yeah, he won’t give up. Neither will his stans until the show gets cancelled.

Scores: 7 | 7 | 7 = 21. Overscored for sure. It reminded me of a Week 2 dance.

WHAT IS THAT GALLON HAT ALAN IS WEARING?!?!

-

Milo & Witney: Witney turns to her wedding for some country inspiration, and Milo has also been playing some guitar. He writes her a cute country song as a gift. It was beautiful and seamless as always. LANCO are a bit distracting but the two of them are just so pure. Carrie Ann considers him a contender; she also points out that he’s been trooping through the height difference (Witney is up to his shoulders!).

Scores: 10 | 9 | 10 = 29. I swear Len is on crack today.

DeMarcus & Lindsay: Well... DeMarcus is a farm guy, so it’s pretty fitting that most of the package is just gonna be him doing country stuff. Lindsay considers him the ultimate Southern gentleman. It’s a very cut from the cloth Lindsay type dance which isn’t surprising to me, but he did well. Len appreciates the gentleness of the dance but wants DeMarcus to work on his feet and for Lindsay to work on delivering more content.

Scores: 9 | 9 | 9 = 27. Extremely consistent scores, but he’s pretty much out of contention at this point.

-

Alexis & Alan: So they’re dancing to Lauren Alaina’s “Ladies In The 90’s”. Alan takes her horseback riding... THIS IS NOT HELPING THOSE WHO ARE OPPOSED TO THIS SHOWMANCE. Alan doesn’t want to mess up his partnership with Alexis and wants to put his professionalism first... and then says he has feelings for Alan. THEN THEY SHARE A KISS. I’m so done. This is the James & Peta showmance all over again.

The dance is pure unadulterated fun, which I expected from a Samba. It’s also fast paced and choc full of content. Len considered it the best dance of the night. Carrie Ann pointed out some parts where she rushed through.

Scores: 9 | 10 | 10 = 29. I’m so confused... first the showmance and now Carrie Ann denying a perfect score?

-

Bobby & Sharna: He was a bit disappointed by the scores last week and there’s some pressure because the entire country community is pulling for him. He claims some credit for kickstarting Chris Hanson’s career and he comes over to cover Elvis. It was inhibited and clean... his best dance so far! This is very much a large improvement from the last couple weeks! The judges noticed a couple flubs (the tension in his shoulders in particular), but they agree that this was his best dance.

Bobby also announces that he’ll be a mentor in the next season of American Idol! GOALS. Too bad we’re gonna get another country singer from this.

Scores: 8 | 8 | 8 = 24. Giant kisses all around for Len and Bruno.

Teams: Joe and Bobby, the lowest two on the leaderboard at the moment, are the team captains. Evanna was the last pick... I’m so triggered.

Team HayNow: Bobby, John, Milo, Evanna. There’s a lot of fun times but hard rehearsal time. This is actually a nice hoe down and everyone is pulling their weight! And OMG EVANNA LOOKS SO GOOD WITH THE FEMALE PROS!!! She really held her own in that performance! Len loved it, Bruno thought everyone shone, and Carrie Ann calls Bobby the MVP. This might be the best team dance since Season 21!

Scores: 10 | 9 | 10 = 29! That’s gonna help Bobby out massively, and if Joe’s team scores lower, Evanna will be at the top of the leaderboard!

-

Team JoeDown: Joe, DeMarcus, Juan Pablo, Alexis. Joe chose DeMarcus for crazy lifts and Juan Pablo and Alexis have already gotten 10’s. They’re all helping each other and it’s all night!

The ladies are really becoming the focal point of these dances, they’re killing it with blending in with the pro girls! However it all comes falling apart once the camera pans to Joe riding that mechanical bull. Honestly my eyes were drawn to Juan Pablo and Alexis! Carrie Ann thought there was way too much going on but commended the heightened difficulty of the dance.

Scores: 9 | 8 | 9 = 26. Team HayNow wins this round!

Elimination Time!

In Jeopardy: John & Emma, DeMarcus & Lindsay, Evanna & Keo. Once again Joe is safe. However he wasn’t at the bottom of the leaderboard. Evanna was second, but will that save her?

Eliminated: John & Emma, DeMarcus & Lindsay. THE FIRST TWO MALES HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!!! John was at the bottom and DeMarcus was stagnating, so I kinda expected them to be at the bottom. John joins the “eliminated on the winning team” club, meaning Emma has two partners on here.

This also means EVANNA IS ON TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD!!!

Next Week: Semi finals already? It feels too early. But it also means there are duets coming up. And I’m excited about that!

Dance Ranking:

10 | 1.) Evanna & Keo

9 | 2.) Milo & Witney

9 | 3.) Alexis & Alan

9 | 4.) Juan Pablo & Cheryl

8 | 5.) DeMarcus & Lindsay

8 | 6.) Bobby & Sharna

Total Week 7 Leaderboard:

59 | Evanna & Keo

58 | Milo & Witney

56 | Juan Pablo & Cheryl

55 | Alexis & Alan

53 | Bobby & Sharna

47 | Joe & Jenna

The scores are pretty close with Joe quite far down. With the power of Bachelor Nation and Sharna stans (+ all of middle America coming to vote for their golden boy Bobby) and the Alexis/Alan showmance slowly progressing, anything could happen.

(also my top 2 being the current top 2 *.*)

A Carly Pearce rumba, must see that

Joe dancing to Dierks I was NOT prepared *.*.*.*

This is actually my first season watching because I wanted to see Evanna, so glad she's done so well and made the semifinals

Omg Juan Pablo's Charleston seemed to me as if it had like... no Charleston in it, how on earth was that a perfect score? It's probably one of the last dances you could meld to country music though so it's probably just not a great choice for country week.

If Evanna gets the axe while she’s at the top of the leaderboard I might actually consider unstanning

(DWTS Juniors write-up coming soon!)

R U F-ucking ME

Omg I am so upset right now at america!!!

The best dancer of the season not making into finals is so wrong.

How come judges don't have/use a power to prevent things like this?!
