MIA out of the chart

what even happened to these songs? They seemed to be doing well and were on the verge of smashing but all of a sudden they just... died

Oh oops at '1999', I didn't realise that was heading onto ACR already. Was hoping it'd rally back and get a new peak again after all the Xmas songs left. It seemed to have massive momentum for like a week and a half and then immediately stalled again </3

Next week's ACR victims (predictions)

Jess Glynne - Thursday

Kodak Black - ZEZE (maybe, there's a chance this could avoid it)

Billie Eilish - When the Party's Over

Cadet & Deno Driz - Advice

Sheck Wes - Mo Bamba

DigDaT - AirForce

poor Billie eilish :/ though the rest can go

Feels far too early for both Billie Eilish and Sheck Wes, Christmas seems to have knocked them down considerably.

DigDaT too as he has the odd distinction of the remix only being released a few weeks ago but it spent a while between 85-100 beforehand, though he was never going to return to the top 40 anyway.

Most will increase in next week and the following week chart with the gift cards but that isn't much comfort for the likes of Billie who got caught in the middle of that

You'll all be pleased to know that 'ZEZE', 'Advice' and 'Mo Bamba' have managed to avoid ACR. *.*

'Thursday', 'When the Party's Over' and 'AirForce' become victims.

Glad that 'Mo Bamba' has survived, I don't expect it to get any higher than its current peak but hope to see it back in the top 40 after Xmas. Too early for Billie tho. </3
Yeh I kind of thought the Billie Eilish song may have taken off big time and been top 10 at Xmas but it never really did but radio 1 didn't help keeping it in the B list so long then dropping it!
The song does seem to have already peaked so it's not another 'Ocean' situation at least. I imagine she'll have a new song ready soon ready to smash.
‘Always Remember Us This Way’ has avoided ACR again?
It's had a sales decrease but it's not due for ACR until the week after next (and it could avoid it again if Gift Cards are kind to it)

Yeh I can imagine this song will help her have a big year in 2019 and if the next singles big she could explode!

Kind of amusing that 'Thursday' and 'When The Party's Over' are already hitting ACR while 'Lost Without You' stays on SCR after twice as many chart weeks. (They're all ballads which is why the comparison came to my mind)
