So damn underrated! :( This is my third favourite Placebo track, although similar to previous single 'The Bitter End', I think this is better. Very melodic, excellent lyrics, powerful sing-a-long chorus with glam rock-esque guitar riffs present in the chorus. So yes, in short, amazing track that deserves more credit. I could do without the spoken parts at the beginning though.

This track just takes me to higher places, absolute magic. I think the guitar work is among the best ever, and I love the way the lyrics are sung in an angsty tone. This is another track I feel doesn't quite get enough credit, for it is simply divine. Also who can forget the classic TOTP performance where Brian performed on stage in a dress?! Now that is true Placebo going against the grain.

The music video below, albeit not great quality:

And here is a random video on YouTube someone made, but you can actually hear the song in good quality  :

1: Pure Morning

It had to be! The song that got me into the band in the first place two years ago, after trying for years to find out what this song was after hearing it on TV adverts and on the radio etc. It is beautiful and mesmerising, it has a kinda sleazy feel to it and the vocals are pure perfection. You may recognise this song from the "A friend in need's a friend indeed..." refrain throughout. This track would have to be in my top 10 songs of all-time if I ever compiled one, there is simply nothing in this world like it.

Brilliant Top 2! They would be my top 2 as well, but the other way round :D

Thanks for the countdown, Aly ^_^

Very nice, especially your top 5. Pure Morning may be fab, but no higher than #11 until certain favours are done :kink:

Thanks for this rating Aly.

I must say that I expected a bit different results... :)
