Posted October 31, 200619 yr McFly are in danger of tumbling from the Top Ten this weekend, just a week after Star Girl (Island) entered the chart at number one, according to early retail reports. The single is experiencing an 85% week-on-week drop in fortunes, paving the way for Fedde Le Grand (Data) and Girls Aloud (Fascination) to rise to numbers one and two respectively. Bodyrox feat. Luciana’s Yeah Yeah (Eye Industries/UMTV) looks likely to climb to number three after getting physically released yesterday, while Keane’s Nothing In My Way (Island) and Depeche Mode’s Martyr (Mute) are both in contention for a Top Ten debut. Herculean, the debut single from Damon Albarn’s The Good, The Bad & The Queen project (Honest Jons), is poised to debut within the Top 20, alongside Simon Webbe’s Coming Around Again (Innocent) and Babyshambles and Friends’ Janie Jones (B-Unique). In the album chart, Girls Aloud’s The Sound Of – Greatest Hits (Fascination) is likely to topple Robbie Williams’ Rudebox from the number one spot, with Amy Winehouse set to enter at three with Back to Black (Island). The Who’s Endlesswire (Polydor) has also got off to a good start, and is threatening to become the duo’s highest-charting album for over 25 years, while Madeleine Peyroux’s Half the Perfect World is set to rocket from last week’s position of 166 to seven. Other likely new entries in the album chart will come from Tony Bennett (Sony BMG), Deftones (Maverick), Michael Ball (UMTV), Aerosmith (Columbia) and Thunder (STC Recordings). October 31, 200619 yr I predict that Babyshambles, Depeche Mode and The Good, The Bad and The Queen will all be fairly high today (maybe one even top 3?) but will all fall throughout the week!
October 31, 200619 yr I really hope it's Girls Aloud  but have a feeling it will Fede Le Grand or Bodyrox!!!
October 31, 200619 yr Babyshambles will br Top 5, as it had nearly sold out at my HMV yesterday... Bodyrox for Top 3, and All Saints Top 10 on downloads alone I think :D
October 31, 200619 yr Babyshambles will br Top 5, as it had nearly sold out at my HMV yesterday... Bodyrox for Top 3, and All Saints Top 10 on downloads alone I think :D All Saints certainly won't be top 10 in the mids but will probably be come the end of the week!
October 31, 200619 yr I think Fredde will climb to Number 1 even though I cant stand the song, Girls Aloid will climb to number 2 and bodyrox with climb to 3!
October 31, 200619 yr 01 - FEDDE 02 - GIRLS ALOUD 03 - BODYROX fingers crossed, that's what I'm hoping for too :)
October 31, 200619 yr Author Whoever charts at #1 this week, it be the 20th #1 single this year, only 8 more weeks to go, personally by the end of the year, I predict 24 #1s this year.
October 31, 200619 yr we will have 25 no.1's this year i think.. Btw what the f... McFly out of top 10 after no.1?
October 31, 200619 yr "The single[by McFly] is experiencing an 85% week-on-week drop in fortunes" Yes, last monday's figures would have included a large amount of pre-release-sales. So an 85% drop doesn't mean much.
October 31, 200619 yr Author Btw what the f... McFly out of top 10 after no.1? The report is a bit vague, but it would be a big laugh  if it did
