Hopefully this means more promo.

I see comments on Twittter, people getting mad at the label for releasing the single on Thursday, thats ok if it hurt the boys but I was just thinking, did it really hurt them? We know they sold 5.1k on Thursday thanks to the Friday official chart but do we know how much they sold on Friday? I don't think there are stats for that. If they sold more than 5.1k, say 6-7k on Friday, then label's strategy obviously worked as they would be ahead by 1-2k copies. So its wrong to say they lost that 5.1k because of Thursday. Of course, if they sold less than 5.1k, say 2-3k, then yeah, that sucks a little. But what I'm trying to say is that I see what they were going for, get the fans and most of all non-WL fans familiar with the song ahead of Friday and their big Norton performance. But I guess we will never know if the strategy worked since we don't have the sales for Friday only.

I think it will go number here in Ireland, if it does this ut will climb 66 places.

doubted, ava is topping them every where .... do we have any info on midweeks there beyond monday?

Westlife ads just appeared on my Spotify
Spotify #98 75k UK, #7 34k IE

Nice to see them actually climbing on the Spotify chart, thats 15 places since yesterday, I think they were #113 yesterday. And they are back at #1 on Amazon store. Hopefully this will be enough for them to hang on in Top 10 by Friday but we'll see.

Westlife have a physical release too

They are still #8 today, thats great.
looks like they produced more physical cds at the last minute and emailed all the fans about it as well on Ireland and dropped down the price from 5 to 2 haha love it
total Spotify plays so far 1.292 m from 1.035 m yesterday

1.56 m total now

Ooh they're still #8 in the mids? That's a good sign. I'd be willing to bet they'll end up at #11 or #12 by Friday.

In this day and age, for a returning group like Westlife, in the current streaming-heavy climate, that is a huge success. The fact they're top 100 again on Spotify with no real, big playlist support is fantastic news too! I think they're on to a moderate hit with this and that is a huge success for them imo.

It sounds like a hit so would be nice for it to hang around. If it stays top 10 I will be beyond happy.

Looks like more TV promo is coming up, info about it tomorrow:

It will be interesting to see how will single hold up in the next few weeks. If they do promo and have steady streaming, it might end up being a decent hit - it might not end up like 90% of Westlife singles were in the past, where they hit no. 1 and then tumbled down on the 2nd week.

my impression was they will discuss to the fans how their promo trail and the streaming era works lol

looks like the news today is the NTA appearance but Kian already said about this the other day

sheeran posted about the single on his ig story
