Yeah Little Mix’s new lead isn’t great on first listen but I tend to find Nicki ruins almost every feature she’s on so I wasn’t expecting much. Their worst single after Change Your Life.
So I guess I'm not the only one that think after BM and SOTMX this is a let down of a first single.

I really hope this is an improvement on SOTME, it sounded like it from the demo.

I have a Q

When did Take That start flopping?!

Last I knew they were HUGE with no.1 albums and no.2 singles

They did pretty well to open above 100k with a studio album last year considering it's now 12 years since their comeback (twice as long as they were ever together first time around). The novelty of their return has well and truly worn off now.

And as with all aging acts, streaming is harming their singles. These Days got to No.1 in 2014, but if I recall correctly peaked in the mid 20s on streaming, and the market has matured so much since then that it's pretty difficult to have a big smash with a song that nobody is streaming.

It's hard also when Spotify are even worse than Radio 1 with what they selectively choose to add to their Hot Hits playlist, it's like how do a lot of people even stand a chance?

but the new The That single is also the worst thing I've heard in a while, it's nothing like Patience or Rule the World or The Flood, which you could totally see the appeal

True.

The new TT song does sort of sound like something the BBC would proudly commission as the UK's Eurovision entry via an ill-fated internal selection, yet I really enjoy it, it's good to hear them doing something different and it is super catchy. I'm a sucker for a bit of swing sometimes.
39. Jess Glynne - Thursday

Written with Ed Sheeran and does sound like a big hit.

Well if she released tomorrow I'd be gutted:lol:

Since when is everybody releasing an Ed Sheeran co-write?! Rita Ora was happy to get ‘Your Song’ before the rest jumping the train.

4. Dave & Fredo - Funky Friday (feat. Fredo)

8. Take That - Out of Our Heads

29. Jess Glynne - Thursday

45. Andrea Bocelli & Matteo Bocelli - Fall on Me

95. Camila Cabello - Consequences (orchestra)

All the songs that wouldn’t make his album 😂

Jesus christ, this Jess Glynne era is so unbelievably bad - every song she's put out has been bland and non-descript.

207. Run The Jewels - Let's Go (The Royal We)
