Sia has been very hit and miss the past couple of years; like I say, she just seems to throw herself into so many projects that she starts to lack quality control. Hopefully this being the lead to a new album will push it in the hit direction.

What's it for? Is it another in a long line of Soundtrack singles?

 

It's a good song and I like the lyrics, but I feel like it's retreading old ground for Sia. We've heard this song a thousand times before. I know Sia's made a name for herself for releasing big empowering ballads but there used to be something quirky about it. I remember the first time I heard 'Chandelier' and being blown away by those vocal acrobatics in the chorus. I do miss the days I could be impressed by Sia.
