This.

I think Sweden are in Plato mode. Good Plato mind, still stratosphere’s ahead of the UK, but they at least know they’re not resistant to poor placings. I’m hopeful for a better MelFest next year...

I would like to see Meg Myers and Elias in 2019. Elias has some really unique songs that could stand out in the contest (but I'm afraid he would do a Dotter though). However, I think Sweden should try to send a joke entry in 2019 since their Swedish humor is brilliant (Love Love Peace Peace and De Vet Du ironies?).

Imagine if they fell under Anna's spell again...and she DNQ'd at Eurovision again *.*

Was hoping Wiktoria would get the pimp slot in that heat, presumably the song isn't as big a deal as As I Lay Me Down.

Oscar's released a new song today, interesting timing when his heat is only a month away, but this is VERY good! A huge step up from his debut Heaven On My Skin. Really hyped for his MFest song now!

This is actually really good I'm-
Really impressed with "Sign of my Love", had it lodged in my head all day. Given it fits well within the 3 minute limit for Eurovision songs, it may well have been submitted for Melfest and passed over in favour of "I Love It". If that is the case, I'm even more excited for his Melfest appearance!

Knowing Sweden lately, they'll finally send a female and it'll be Anna  It'd be what they deserve tbh.

The heart being less revealing - definitely a good thing

The votes being broken down by age group...feels like the wrong way to go about things. It shouldn’t be too big a deal since it wouldn’t have affected Benjamin’s win, or any of the direct to final qualifiers, but I’d have preferred a different solution to solve the app voting ‘problem’. A reduction in the number of app votes that each person can cast, or phone votes being weighted so each one counts for the same as ten or twenty app votes

The problem with the app vote is being able to vote 5 times per person rather than 5 in total.

There's no thread for Andra Chansen?
Torn got through that's all I cared about *.* Ready for her to come 10th in the actual final, but hey

Final running order

1. Jon Henrik Fjällgren

2. Lisa Ajax

3. Mohombi

4. Lina Hedlund

5. Bishara

6. Anna Bergendahl

7. Nano

8. Hanna Ferm & LIAMOO

9. Malou Prytz

10. John Lundvik

11. Wiktoria

12. Arvingarna

That seems really good for Malou? Come through pre-teen bop!

Could have done without Nano in the final really but the other three additions are great, and it's a very strong final to be fair. I got the compilation CD yesterday and have been listening to it a lot, it's not a vintage year but there's been lots to enjoy nonetheless.

lisa ajax being given the death slot AGAIN

seriously in all three of her final appearances she has been either second or third in the running order

Poor Jon Henrik given the Top half for the third time.
