February 23, 20251 yr Exit confirmed for Maxine, not really surprised as there isn’t a lot more they could do with her, she had loads thrown at her for most of her stint but now they seem to have no idea what to do with her and she’s barely used

As he can’t be Marie’s since he appears to be between Joel and Abe’s age. Maybe it’s just like a random stalker for Joel and he is just obsessed and in love with him or something idk, but there’s always something more with Hollyoaks.
March 18, 2025Mar 18 I think he has something to do with Joel's relapse that happened previously but it's interesting that Tommy knows who he is and is literally obsessed to the point of owning a shrine to him. We are going to get a flashback episode at some point which looks back over some of the events from the time jump and this story should be included (plus a Warren return)... No idea how to tag something as a spoiler so avert your eyes *shrug*
March 20, 2025Mar 20 Oh yeah I forgot that was coming up, if Joel met him on a bender and was off his face and something happened, it makes sense that he has a hazy memory of potentially meeting him before as he seemed to almost recognise him.I have to say I also hate this human trafficking story, I think they did quite well with making Grace feel human, like a well rounded character who made sense to be back, and now she’s shoving essentially her niece who had confided in her about abuse into sex slavery?! Isabelle Smith is of course incredible, but nobody needs to see Frankie go through even more trauma. I suppose that’s the point, Grace built a relationship with her so it hits harder, but idk. People have been saying Grace is a double agent and will bring the ring down but I don’t think so, she is exploiting teenagers even if she was and it’s kind of irredeemable for a character that had a really good development arc. I know she’s always been a criminal/gangster and killed people but this just feels like there is no way back. I kind of feel like they are going to have Rex be the hero to set up his redemption arc and then this can only really lead to an exit for Grace.
April 16, 2025Apr 16 What a random slapdash exit for a character like Maxine. It feels like she quit out of nowhere and they just decided to bung her in with this whole Grace storyline which every bloody thing revolves around lately

April 30, 2025Apr 30 Nadine Mulkerrin and Anna Passey both deserve better than being a plot device for the entire show to centre around Jez being a serial killer… As much as they both smash whatever they’re given, it would almost be more interesting for them to be happy than suffering yet again. I really don’t see what Jez adds to the show at all. I am also sick of this trafficking storyline now. Well I’m not, it’s been good, but I hate this Hollyoaks trope of something almost coming out but they want to prolong it so they delay it at the last minute by an accident happening or something (see Cleo being ran over at Abe and Peri’s wedding, and now Donny when he cornered Banks). If they want to keep an SL going, just keep it going
