Because these streams are on Thursday and the OCC don't receive Thursday's streaming data so they estimate it

Really? Thats crazy that the OCC would basically just guess figures for a certain day and not accurately count them.

I'm almost certain she's an industry plant, Spotify seem to be really pushing her all over recently and she's seemingly come from nowhere to getting tons of streams. Most likely some sort of payola is going on.

 

I enjoy 'When the Party's Over' a fair bit at the moment (and 'Bellyache' is quite good too) but otherwise I don't really get the hype.

LOL she definitely doesn't come "out of nowhere", the album has been in top 100 in the US for almost all year. They are pushing her now, though, as her popularity is proven.

 

The album (or mini-album) has reached #8 in Sweden and Norway, #18 in Australia and Canada.

I wouldn't say she's 'come out of nowhere'. She's been pretty popular since about November last year - that was the point in which a lot of people started becoming aware of her.

 

Her track "Six Feet Under" has been around for god knows how long now as well, I don't think she's an industry plant.
