Wish Spotify had stronger morals and refused to have his music on the platform

He's not on Hot Hits UK, one of his songs is high on Today's Top Hits, but it's mostly his large fanbase getting him so high rather than playlist streams.

 

They tried to implement a policy of taking out controversial artists from their curated playlists (namely XXXTENTACION and R Kelly, but I'm sure 6ix9ine would've ended up on the blacklist too) but it had a lot of backlash so I can't see them re-instating it anytime soon.

I don't really care for 6ix9ine's music myself but I can't really judge people for listening to it if they like it. After all, I adore David Bowie's music and listen to it frequently, fully aware of the fact that he's had sex with a minor before.

 

(though given the age of his fanbase, there's probably a rebellious/apathy aspect to it).
