Jupiter 2018: Week #42

A second week at the top for Visions of Atlantis this week with their seasonal thoughtful ballad. Lana holds at #2 for a second week running, while Thom Yorke ascends to #3. I had been looking forward to finally seeing Suspiria this week only to discover it's been pushed back another 2 weeks! Grr. Four of Diamonds, The Corrs, Robyn and Lady Gaga also rise into the top ten this week, the latter two with long-awaited comebacks. Brooke and Avril slip out after one week in there apiece. Next week Robyn may well be challenging for a fourth chart topper following Be Mine, everyone's fave Dancing On My Own, and the undeservedly-overlooked Hang With Me which is my favourite song of hers. Four of Diamonds will also be right up there, not a phrase I imagined uttering this time last year. Outside the top end of the chart, Matoma and Ayme continue to climb following their re-entry, and Say Lou Lou's Golden Child continues to yo-yo up and down the top 40 without quite slipping out.

New entries once again this week come nearer the bottom end of the chart, with this week's highest being outside the top 20. That goes to Ward Thomas, already outpeaking their previous (and only) charter Where The Sky Is. You'll find new entries handily hyperlinked through the top 40 for easy discovery, along with Ward Thomas this week that means tracks from Goldfrapp, Jhene Aiko, All Saints, Krewella, Sasha Sloan, Jessie Ware going back to her dance roots, Blakey, and XYLO.
