Yeh I'm still recovering from the fact the label seemed to have totally forced Strip out of their hands as a sure fire hit! They kept saying it would be the next single, then out of no where even after it charted well and all of the publicity it was causing, suddenly TAU was the single. I think the confusion didn't help this campaign tbh.

That singles run is the absolute tea, with Strip coming straight from the album and they’d have been into MIM any now.

Do y'all think they might bother with a discount tomorrow considering it might still have one more week on the Radio 1 A list, or do you think they're over pushing the single?

A discount tomorrow would be great, they are currently at 39 on ITunes, it would push it to top 20 on ITunes, but I fear radio 1 will remove the song entirely tomorrow

That’s quite a big climb since yesterday when it was about 50

I think it's mostly a case of R1 A listing really starting to sink in.

Hopefully they'll discount this tomorrow and give it one more shot

Mess. It's hard to be annoyed about it underperforming when their team seem so intent in tanking it any way possible. The stark contrast between this and the treatment NMSS got when it was struggling (constant discount, #1 on Hot Hits) is telling.

I imagine they just wanna let this one die now and free up the gap for the new single. </3
