After their worst ever Eurovision result this year following a national final, Armenia are going back to an internal selection and will announce the artist for 2019 this Friday at approx 6:20pm UK time!
Ooh hype, last year's NF was actually pretty great even if the results definitely weren't. Here's hoping when they select for themselves, it's something as good as You & I or as much of a guilty pleasure as Puerto Rico rather than something as boring as Qami.
Queen Gohar isn’t head of delegation anymore as far as I’m aware as she’s focusing on her other tv shows :(
Oooh, she sounds good! Hopefully we'll get a good track, fingers crossed.

I think I'd have liked this more if I hadn't just been snatched by Malta
Pretty disappointing :( Not bad by any stretch, it builds quite nicely, but I was really expecting/wanting an ethnobop or something with a tad more oomph/attitude, perhaps it just needs more listens, again I'd probably like it more without Malta just demolishing everything.

oof that last minute was a MOMENT

was expecting something more uptempo as most of us were but I’m digging the Bishop Briggs-esque production?

Wow, this is really good! I love the trumpets part
I really like this. However, I was expecting something more uptempo and ethnobop-ish but its still good nonetheless

Edited by Alex!

It’s got a lot of oomph but feels like too much thought has gone into the production and not the song? So, a very typical Armenain entry. I reckon this is very much for the live stage.
Really interesting entry and then the key change onwards is incredible. ANOTHER contender. Not sure we’ve ever had so many countries making this much effort before. Almost every single best pop song in the past year is coming from this contest 😱

This is pretty fabulous. Those trumpets alone elevate the song so much - a very nice and essential touch!

I feel this will be a grower and could be a 14th place DNQ or Top 5 in the final depending entirely on the performance.
