December 17, 20186 yr Not that I necessarily watch any movie Xmas but if I would and it would be Xmas themed, then it would be one of: Die Hard, Gremlins, Krampus. Or Home Alone 1 and 2. Edited December 17, 20186 yr by JackJones
December 18, 20186 yr I've done it at least twice now, I love watching as much Haruhi Suzumiya as I feel like doing and then finishing with the film, The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya, the story of which takes place from December 18th to December 24th. Also, um, Die Hard. The two things those have in common is that they're both adventure/action movies that take place at Christmas so you can feel Christmassy while also enjoying a story that wouldn't feel unnatural if you watched it at another time.
December 18, 20186 yr this is the 2nd year we've watched Die Hard and yep that's going to be a yearly tradition now. other than that, no.
December 18, 20186 yr - Love Actually - Bernard And The Genie (actually a TV movie from BBC in 1991, starring Alan Cumming, Rowan Atkinson and Lenny Henry, with script by Richard Curtis. It's so funny and I feel like more people should know about it. The full thing is on YouTube from a VHS rip) - The Holiday (I love Kate Winslet in this) - The Snowman/Father Christmas - The Muppet Christmas Carol - Mary Poppins/The Sound Of Music (tradition of ours every year) - Holiday Inn - White Christmas Edited December 18, 20186 yr by ThePoguesmith

December 18, 20186 yr I prefer to watch different films every year, it keeps me a bit more interested. That said, Elf, Muppets Christmas Carol, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Snowman and It's a Wonderful Life are ones I can always put on and love. Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale is a recent fave I would recommend, a Finnish film about a logging team uncovering an evil Santa *.
