I find it quite underrated, so I'm pleased to see that you like it. *.* I agree that Only You is kind of basic (or to sound more positive, "straightforward" lol), but enjoyably so! Sometimes a simple song done well is all that is needed. Yay at Rose Colored Boy making an appearance! I absolutely loved After Laughter and this was certainly a highlight from the album. I feel that Paramore era deserved more adoration & success than it ultimately received, but it seemed a lot of people found the sound change jarring. Strangers is my favourite Sigrid song so far. It actually took me a few weeks to get into, but when it hit me it really hit me. *_* Glad it was such a big hit for her. Delicate! :wub: This should have been massive for Taylor, can't believe it missed the UK Top 40! :drama: The highlight of reputation. Following on from his #1 hit in 2017 with OneRepublic, SeeB released this reworking of a previously unreleased Bastille song which missed out on their Wild World album in 2016. Grip debuted high although stalled for a few weeks before reaching it's peak of #3 in the new year. I thought this would go on to become a long running #1 hit but fell out of the chart very very quickly once 2019 ticked over - similar to a few other songs from 2018. This was a nice enough song though and is on my dance playlist now (one which I continuously add to and never remove anything from). I don't listen to any of their 2018 mixtape anymore tbh, it was enjoyable but give me the album please! There's levels to the cool like a fan on a shelf ♪ WxOQ6EeLAuQ Jon Bellion ft Tuamie — Adult Swim [3-5-11-16-22-31-34-33-43-50-xx] The first Jon Bellion song in the Top 100 to go (and with 5 remaining) is Adult Swim which sees Jon playing into his hip-hop style a bit more with a bit of rap. If anyone has previously heard his poppier-sounding songs and not been a big fan I recommend this 100%! I'm probably gonna repeat a lot of what I say about Jon's Glory Sound Prep album through this countdown but oh well. With all 10 of his songs from the album simultaneously charting in my Top 10 he becomes the first and so far only artist to have an entire album within my Top 200 - the majority of which are in the Top 100 too jsut about with 6/10 between #?? and #80. The album release effect in full swing but the longevity of most of these album tracks really goes to show how fantastic they are and how much I adored this album. Lost In Japan could be one of my favourite Shawn Mendes songs tbh, it definitely still sounds excellent and is more replayable than In My Blood I think It was a big change at first hearing After Laughter but it felt like the natural progression after their 2013 album and honestly the sound really fits them as a band, I'd love a return to their rock roots in future but I'd be equally happy with more 80s-pop :wub: Pffffft! ...Ready For It? was Taylor's big reputation moment for sure x Really enjoying "Lost In Japan", "Sicko Mode", "Born To Be Yours", "Grip" and "Back & Forth"! The most rock-sounding track on After Laughter became their biggest hit of 2018 last year and remains my favourite song from the entire album. Reaching #5 for a week following the release of a great music video (though not as good as Rose-Colored Boy's video I admit) this definitely stands tall next to their classics. I usually listen to the edited version as that's what I have on my playlists but I adore the intro :wub: A beautiful acoustic section before the main song kicks in which sounds incredible on the album. I didn't know what I was expecting from After Laughter especially once I'd heard Hard Times but this song really made me fall back in love with the band!
