The album is holding up pretty well in the UK.

 

Had it been released in the New Year, I think it could have hit the top 20!

 

MJB DA MVP charted at No.33 too :D

Should have been much higher though :( :(

The album has also climbed to a new peak of No.40 this week which is really great and MJB Da MVP has only slipped 3 places.

The UK SHOULD get "We Ride"...

 

It makes a huge amount of sense for it to get a UK release. That said her label are ALWAYS all over the place with releases as we have come to learn -_-

We Ride should really get a release, i think its very good ^_^

Well One did a lot for her last album and the single even made it onto the Top40 of the year which I was surprised at, but it's a good song. :D

BWY should never have flopped. and i was very surprised too -_-

it was released on Xmas week though wasnt it? So there were many more singles people were interested in, not to mention the UK arent really bothered about MJB :(

Her album sold 170kish though which I think is great for a Mary album! :D

Yeh, Be With You was released at the wrong time of the year, as with MJB Da MVP and the GH album.

 

I agree that Mary is underrated in the UK but I don't thinks she is over here enough to promote a single/album.

 

E.g, No More Drama (singles/album) did really well in the UK as she came over to do a few performances etc, the same with 'One'.

 

At least she's still getting UK top 40 albums/singles though which is something :D :cheer: :dance:

Yeah I know what you mean, but if you look at how huge she is in the US, and then compare it to here she's fairly unknown here. Before The Breakthrough I only knew Mary because of Family Affair, because it was so infectious, I couldn't remember the name of the track, but I could sing it. :lol:

 

I got The Breakthrough when it was released and i've got the GH, so I now know her a little better. :lol:

Yeh, the difference between how big she is in the USA and how big she is here is quite shocking.

 

Family Affair also introduced me to Mary as well but I only own her 3 most recent albums and the GH!

The older stuff never really appealed to me that much until I got the GH!
