November 4, 200618 yr It was between a few really, not many were really good that year, but I went with Genie in the end
November 4, 200618 yr omg... someone actually voted for the vengaboys! I'd have been more worried if they'd voted for Pestlife
November 4, 200618 yr ohhhhhhhh double posts... aly! surely the vengas were for 'lil kids... i mean.... Yes, memories of my childhood. Looking back over the list, I should have chosen Christina Aguilera - Genie In A Bottle.
November 4, 200618 yr A very poor year for number ones. The best by far is Maria by Blondie. That said, it's interesting to look back. Baby One More Time was a massive hit and pretty much made Britney's career. Didn't Christina look so sweet and innocent in the Genie In A Bottle days? Strange to think what was to come for those two.
November 4, 200618 yr Loads of good songs... It's difficult to choose one, but I went for the only song I always lsten with loads of pleasure  Ronan Keating - When You Say Nothing At All xox.

November 5, 200618 yr not agreat year for number 1's ,it was between offspring and martine mc cutcheon for me so i gave martine the vote I agree, looking at this list, there was nothing much there that inspired me. But this is right in the middle of the era of the "One week wonder" which thankfully with downloads these days has largely abaited. I quite liked "Blame it on the Weatherman", but that nosedived having debuted at Numero Uno.
