Posted November 5, 200618 yr JDL's Official Top 40 Tracks Of The Week Once again, we've got a brand new #01, as the returning Cascada comes back with an absolutely spectacular floorfiller cover of Savage Garden's biggest ever hit 'Truly Madly Deeply'; this is just as good, if not even better than the classic 'Everytime We Touch', which, ironically, after spending 17 weeks in JDL's top 40 has just fallen out of the chart (which means Micky Modelle vs. Jessy's 'Dancing In The Dark' is now JDL's longest runner, celebrating its 18th week on the chart). This, I predict is gonna be huge. We've got a flood of new entries this week, as Nelly Furtado returns with 3rd release off her 'Loose' album. 'All Good Things (Come To And End)' was co-wrote with Coldplay's very own Chris Martin, and it's a lovely, sweet ballad, which shows Nelly going back to her roots. If it's as big as the summer smash classic 'Maneater' or her 2nd release 'Promiscuous' (which is celebrating its 15th week on the chart) is yet to be seen. Also returning, after a long hitus is 16-year old Jojo, with the incredibily infectious, pop-tastic 'Too Little Too Late'. This is her best ever tune, even beating the American #01 smash 'Leave (Get Out)'. Outside the top 10, the long-awaited return single from Take That jumps straight into the top 20, at #14. 'Patience' is a surprisingly solid, heart-warming ballad. The boys are back on form, and this is gonna sell bucket loads when it's finally released. My Chemical Romance get a surprising new entry at #16 this week with 'Welcome To The Black Parade' - the emo band have already scored an official #01, so it looks like this is the beginning of big things for the lads. Lo-Rider and Fatboy Slim debut at #19 and #21 respecitvely, with 'Skinny' and 'Champion Sound' - EVERYONE needs to check out the new Fatboy Slim video. It's AWESOME! P Diddy returns to the top 40 this week, this time he's got Christina Aguilera by his side. 'Tell Me' isn't as infectious as 'Come To Me', but expect this to be played up and down all the best clubs in the country. Lily Allen also returns to the top 40 this week, with 'Littlest Things' (in at #27). Whilse not as good as the classics which are 'Smile' and 'LDN', this is still a nice little track, which should give the wildchild, daughter of Keith Allen another top 10 hit. Former Spic Girl member Emma Bunton returns this week with a cover of an old Patula Clarke hit. 'Downtown' is a fresh little pop/mo-town number, which should see her return to where she belongs - the top 10.
