Jupiterdonian Charts 2019: Week 7

3 weeks into Feb, 7 weeks into the year and high turnover at the top continues as Swimming Girls, a former Taahino BJSC entry top my charts this week with their second ever entry, Beneath You. (One I briefly and mistakenly considered sending myself oops. On that note, fans of our long dance entry to the last contest might be surprised by our direction this time!) Last week's leader from Kehlani sees a massive drop all the way out of the top 20 after hitting the top spot in its fourth charting week. Since I track my charts monthly this isn't *as* stark as it might seem though. Ari replaces her at #2 and is followed by Rosalia and Inna, as well as Nadia Ali my own BJSC entry from the last contest. Previous entrant Antonia from around this time last year also isn't far behind at #7 with her new song.

 

Highest debut this week comes from the return of 00s brief pop sensation Luciana collabing here with TigerLily. Other newies this week come from Yoste, James Blake, ISA, Black Coffee, Lika Morgan, JJ Draper, Ally Brooke of 5th Harmony (becoming incredibly the fifth and final of the girls to chart a solo on my personals - not bad for me being a hater), Pabllo Vittar, Alessia Cara, Dreezy x 2, Kodaline, and consecutive entries from all-caps groups FOURS and CLAIRE.
