Alec up to #64, new peak in terms of position and I'm fairly sure it is in terms of stream total too! Last week it had dropped significantly at this point after a boost at the start of the week, hope it can keep on upwards because I neeeeed this to take off.

Boasty continuing to rise - great to see!!

Saw a now-deleted Tweet from Wiley about Boasty saying that it wasn't his choice to release the remix, it was his team. He's annoyed because the cut his verse, which is why he didn't turn up on the music video.

I wish Black was the third most streamed Dave track as that would have been back in the top 40 instead of his album tracks

To be honest I'd be annoyed too, it did seem a bit odd that Wiley had no verse on his own track. The remix is certainly an improvement over the original though. :ph34r:

 

Anyway Wiley did himself a favour by not showing up because the kid does a great job of being him. :lol:

I think Wiley not being in his own video was probably actually beneficial (it makes the video, and by extension the song, so much more memorable) so Team Wiley have played this one very well! :lol:

 

I've not listened to the original version of the song but I can't imagine it being better for the removal of the three features who are all great on it.
