Given the messy and 2 months late release of TAU, and the fact streams of it aren't contributing to album sales, this seems like the wisest choice to me.

A new edition of the album with some strong pop bangers is what is needed to put zest into the LM5 campaign.

As much as I love the album, this is absolutely the right move. This campaign needs salvaged, and if TAU bombed as hard as it has, then I can't see any of the remaining tracks making much of an impact now. Poor 'Wasabi' and 'Forget You Not'; I'm certain they would have smashed if they were released during the GD era.

A 2015 song by electronic band NERO called “The Thrill” has been re-registered but with Little Mix as performers this time. Looks like they will be covering this song

I like that song. Not sure how I feel about a cover song, after they've had such an impressive career and not managed to cover many songs. Intrigued to hear their version of the song though. I imagine it'll be a lot poppier and less Drum n Bass-y.

I love Nero but 'The Thrill' is among their worst. It's the complete opposite of what this campaign needs at the minute.

 

Edit: Okay, I remember being very whelmed by it back in 2015 but it actually bops. Still a ridiculous tactic if true though.

Listening to the song back, I don’t even see what there is for them to cover?? :lol: It’s HEAVILY focused on the production and it’s not as though the lyrics/melody are exciting to release over a brand new song
