Yeah it immediately made me think of Janet, also a bit Grace Jones-esque. Love it.

I’ve loved ‘Level Up’ & ‘Thinkin Bout You’ not liked the other songs we’ve heard as much, but very excited for this never-the-less.

Ooh yes getting Kelly on the feature! I'm surprised she's not invited Nicki back for a third time but I guess she doesn't really need her now.

Her and Kelly should be good! So excited for the album, I've loved the last two and the singles so far. Really hope she finally does a UK tour with it!

I also imagine that was more an Epic move to try and get her hits (when Nicki still had them); I kind of assume she'd be more likely to go to Missy Elliot for a female rap feature if it was up to her...

Missy did do the Level Up remix though which was insane *.*

Album is out! Highlights are Girl Gang and Na Na on first listen. Don't think it's quite as good as Ciara or Jackie but it is strong!

It's a decent album, we've heard the best songs already though. How Level Up wasn't absolutely massive, I will never know :( My favourite new track is probably Girl Gang. Overall it's nothing on Ciara or Jackie though but she was always going to struggle to live up to those highs

She’s not on a Label at the moment I believe so I feel like that’s why Level Up wasn’t a huge massive hit imo . But considering she’s not I feel like Level Up made a pretty good impact and done a good job in getting her name out there again.

 

There is a really good song in 'Love Myself' but it's just far too long.

I went to HMV to get it today since I have all her other albums and they didn’t have it :angry: Amazon has the CD as being released next Friday so I’m expecting her to miss the top 100 tbh :( Who’s idea was that

 

I listened and it’s probably my least favourite from her. Thinkin Bout You is the only song I want to revisit tbh, I Love Myself is ok but I’m not a fan of the instrumental
