#16 Sugababes - Red Dress

With the departure of the irreplaceably feisty founder member Mutya Buena, the chart topping Sugababes are on a mission to prove they are still the fiercest girls in pop with the release of the undeniably catchy 'Red Dress'. Strutting out of Top Shop with their high-end fashion imitations and menacing stilettos, the new-look-trio command everyone’s attention with the stomping anthem 'Red Dress', dictating what they want and how they want it.

With slick production duties coming from Xenomania, Sugababes pull off the tremendous feat of having you sing along to the infectious "wooah wooah wooahs" on your first listen, whilst still retaining all their credibility with their attitude-drenched verses. But just wait for the killer chorus; it will burrow into your head and take up residency until Girls Aloud decide to release 'Models'. - Hmv

#15 The Feeling - Sewn

Five twentysomethings from the South East, The Feeling are on a mission to rehabilitate soft rock. Producing slightly quirky and sophisticated soundscapes, with it's roots in the same song-writing tradition as the likes of Crowded House, Squeeze and Elvis Costello, with a stylistic nod to the retro 70's, middle of the road sound of 10cc, ELO and Fleetwood Mac, the band have found themselves to be one of the most hotly tipped UK acts since Keane.

'Sewn' is The Feeling's first full release, following the limited single 'Fill My Little World', which was unleashed at the end of 2005, and is an elevated widescreen platform of lush and soothing melodies, a song that it destined to become an instant radio classic. Their debut album 'Twelve Stops And Home' is due for release in the summer. - HMV

All those acts that they refer to are favourites of mine especially Crowded House & Squeeze.

I love Fill My Little World & I reckon I may buy the album when released.

#14 Kayne West - Touch the sky

'Touch The Sky' is the fourth single to be taken from Kanye West's critically acclaimed second album, 'Late Registration' and features a sample of Curtis Mayfield's 'Move On Up' to a jubilant uplifting effect. The video is a classic in the making as Kanye dresses up as 70's stunt man, Kanyevel, and follows his preparation in jumping the Grand Canyon with a little help from Pamela Anderson and Nia Long.

#13 Sean Paul - Temperture

Sean Paul is back with the third single off his third album - 'Trinity'. Utilising the ever popular 'Applause' Riddim', Sean continues the inferno theme with 'Temperature' as he sets the dancehalls alight with his lyrical assault. - HMV
