For now I must apologise for my commercial responses below, I've not explored K-Pop very much beyond what I hear in the charts but I'm becoming more and more interested with the more I hear!

How did you get into K-pop?: Our very own Yu (Oricon) has been trying to get me into K-Pop for years but increased exposure thanks to the media has seen plenty of K-Pop songs grow on me.

Where do you see the genre in the next 5 years?: I'm expecting it to cross over more into Western artists and we'll see further collaborations between the likes of BTS and BLACKPINK and other western artists. Hopefully it won't be so difficult for commercial radio to support a song in Korean...!

Fave K-pop music video: idk there’s so many of them. f(x) typically have some of the best aesthetics but Blood Sweat & Tears from BTS is certainly rivaling that

How did you get into K-pop?: First through 2NE1/Wonder Girls and then back again during my senior year of high school due to PSY & Block B

Where do you see the genre in the next 5 years?: completely melded into the western mainstream, more collabs with western artists within small groups (POP/STARS in particular was a nice surprise)

Where do you see the genre in the next 5 years?: I really believe it's just a matter of time until they litter the WW charts. They're a phenomenon. SO excited to hear what's next. They're always one step ahead!

How did you get into K-pop?: SNSD's Genie and 2NE1's I Love You really brought me into the genre in 2012 and I haven't looked back.

Where do you see the genre in the next 5 years?: Lots of high-profile collabs and more songs on Western radio!
