June 14, 20196 yr Last night's episode. Harrowing. I found the fifth episode was, in many ways, even more emotional than number four  . Now I'm counting down the days until the final part.
June 19, 20196 yr Author I found the last 15 mins a little underwhelming with what happened to Edith (very San Junipero with her mind being uploaded) but a great series overall.
June 19, 20196 yr Indeed we do make the world we live in. Great Russel Davies show, hope it gets a second series!
July 4, 20196 yr That gif!! Just caught up with the finale. Definitely one of my TV highlights of 2019! When Edith wiped the floor with those atrocious guards and everybody started breaking free and Bethany started transmitting the atrocities...I got so emotional! And of course Muriel's speech at the dinner table was something else! Edited July 4, 20196 yr by Jαsє
July 4, 20196 yr The finale was decent, the concentration camps and Edith's uploading at the end was perhaps moving too far away from the more realistic take on Sci-Fi that it was known for, but it was certainly thrilling to watch. Honestly I'm just gonna miss all the more minor topical extrapolations that happen, the bigger ones are all obviously very familiar and well presented but also the passing comments like referees being obsolete, 6G, Toy Story 10, Notre Dame rebuilt, I'd honestly say those are my favourite as it's just so cleverly done. After it's latest season, I really feel Black Mirror can take some hints from this, it's just a really well done dystopia.

Not to mention passing comments on chocolate having run out, Greenland having melted, butterflies being almost extinct, etc. This is such an interesting show, eerily realistic and I really want more.
