There isn’t actually that much big a difference between the time between Sing and Shape Of You, and Shape Of You and this.

 

Also I’m pretty sure Photograph was around forever!

Ed was absent for pretty much the entire year before Shape of You and Castle on the Hill were released, it doesn't feel the same way this time. Perfect was in the top 40 only a few months ago, he's co-written countless hits and even been on both the Lil Dicky hits :') he's still remained pretty omnipresent, not like he's been away even though Divide is over 2 years ago now.

And River was even #1 at the start of last year.
